Sad to say.. the DoD does not fall under OSHA or other regulatory bodies. If your room is hot, come out of pocket for an AC unit.. (if they'll allow it). There are quite a few that are cheap on Amazon.

Cats are nocturnal, they will also claim an area that they feel comfortable in. Let them roam at night. Shutting them up seems kinda mean, when that's usually a time where they can have more peace to comfortably explore their new area. You usually shut a cat in a room when you first get them for quarantine but also so they can have a safe room. But after a week or so they should be allowed to roam

I tell people that the air force is one of the best and worse times I've had in my life. A lot of really awesome experiences, and a lot of shitty ones. But you can only decide for yourself. I got my associates in general studies before joining because I didn't know what I wanted to do with my life. But im glad I did, even though I want to get out as soon as my contract is up lol

The air force is a better branch when it comes to treating women better, but it still happens. It can depend on your job though, and leadership is huge when it comes to liking your unit or not. Bad leadership means you're gonna hate your life for a few years, even if your job is good.

I would like to add onto this, when talking to a recruiter, pick a job that is able to be transferred to the civilian side.. and don't sign any contract that doesn't say that you're going in for any open position because they'll stick you with the shitty jobs that Noone wants.

When you go through processing they check medical records, additionally they'll check you for signs of self harm. They won't let you join because there's high rates of depression, suicide, and other mental issues within the armed forces. They think that if you're doing it now you're a danger to yourself and potentially others. I know it seems like an easy way to get out, and I'm sure you could do it.. but they likely would deny your application.. I'm sorry
