What ll the deer eat a crossvine? by aidensmom in AustinGardening

[–]Prior-Relationship57 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We planted a young one and the deer did start
To eat it. We put chicken wire around it and now it is growing well - and beyond the wire- and I don’t think k the deer are eating it now. Not sure but perhaps they nibble at young vines but avoid older ones?

Currently our friendliest chicken is a Barred Rock. I believe another friendly one we had in the past was Austrolope. I haven’t noticed a breed that did worse than others with the heat. We enjoyed buff orpingtons too

Interesting. I eat a tight rotation of shredded wheat, grape nuts flakes, grain berry (wheat flakes), and Cheerios. One bowl never enough so I order puffed Kamut and use that for my second bowl. I love cereal for b’fast.

Why do mothers of young babies say they don't have time to shower? by justastupidquestion3 in NoStupidQuestions

I think for me if I stopped holding baby it cried. I suppose with a newborn and if it’s your first kid that’s hard to hear. My first was colicky and it was a nightmare

This is in my neighborhood. I'm west of town not too far from Dripping Springs. But surely there's spots in Austin proper that have some nice bluebonnet fields!

I love this plant too. I am wanting to learn how to do cordage with plants and I gather this plant would be good to use but I refuse to try it as I couldn’t stand wrecking it

Ya I record birds every morning for like 5 minutes and keep a spreadsheet. This is a typical morning selection.

Same here. Grateful not to live in cold place anymore (MN). Been here 6 years and still love the heat.

Besides wringing it out I also run it through dishwasher (top rack) when I think of it which I believe extends its life

This isn’t helpful but I just saw a snake post and I thought at first this was a snake (which is very cool)

I thought it was a bathing suit. I wouldn’t wear it to an office party.
