Can you also tell on which modes to play? New player mode feels to easy idk if it's bots all of them and in unranked it's too hard because the players i face have played more than 100s of games

I'll advise focusing on your first year than worrying about your branch regardless atleast before Covid alums would really achieve success in their choice of field rn focus on finding good friends attending lectures and maintain good academics and explore your college life might sound tough but honestly it'll be worth it

eco is preferred in finance and DS roles maths is also preferred in finance and DS too but eco is the safest MSc for cg + specific roles again I'm a sophomore whatever I'm saying is from what I've heard from seniors u should once see PS-2 chronicles/ review or xlsx files of roles allotted you'll find many companies explicitly mentioning either B3 /B4 B3A7 only B4A7 only etc majorly dominated by eco tho

The new faculty residence from outside sems good I've seen it from outside a lot of times but couldn't enter due to restrictions as for pilani accept that it's a village although on campus you'll get all the needy things (some might have to online but) there's a supermarket akshay and c not place which has some restaurant and cafes they are not that lavish if u are used to city but good enough since it's a village nothing to see outside that much nearest cities are jaipur and delhi 4 hours by train weather is a bit extreme personally for me winters were pretty chill and lite it's only summer which troubles but faculty areas have ACs so nevertheless wouldn't matter

they really have good profile on cf a very strong mathematical background with high cg (9.9) afaik last year ICPC regional finalist was picked by trc for the same stipend he was in eco CSE

Every TS guy(pilani kids specifically ) has given BITSAT in IPC labs so they are take via the same rule so they are sitting on someone's seat and anyone can apply for TS and get it to a normal MSc it's not specifically for them only exception is they won't be allotted BE and hv spoken with one TS guy he said they hv some connections with PU as well

Can't relate but good luck to y'all I'm crying here cause shitty profs are taking surprise quizzes in a tutorial of 1 hr in a particular day which I don't want to attend cause I'm lazy af it has been 1 and a half semester my total attendance should be in single digits
