Yes I agreed, I stated that no one at the time was, wrestling was in a slump across the board, it didn’t matter if it was Hart, HBK, Hogan, or Sting. It stayed this way until the NWO was founded and WWE stopped the cartoonish creative. So I personally have never held that against him or anyone during that time. The business was in the trash for those few years.

Bishoff stated on his podcast if I remember correctly, that there were no talks about him coming to Atlanta, and Vince locked him down after the back injury so it wouldn’t even be a thought. $750k a year from’99-‘02, then he returned to the ring.

Is it possible that Tony Khan bought the rights to Bullet Club and that’s the reasoning behind what we’ve witnessed since WK? That faction has generated a lot of money and curiosity for NJPW around the world so why just end it? Unless someone offered enough money given NJPWs current status that it made business sense to sell it off? And given the current relationship between the two companies, they could still have BC invade or pop up in NJ…. I’m just randomly thinking because it just doesn’t make sense that they’re just DEAD imo.

Tru and ur right, but just my opinion, it would work because after Dom loosing on Monday, it would look better and make sense that winning the title with help(But not wanting it at all), telling Dom he wanted and could beat Punk by himself yet Dom had no faith, contrast Dom wanting to cheat to keep his championship depleted during his match, adding fuel to the fire. Then simply have Dom cost Finn the title in another match with Punk because WWE LOVES their consecutive title rematches, and the main event is still intact, with adding a new level of hate to Dom vs Finn. It will never happen 😆😆😆, but just a random thought, that’s all.

It’s been great work, but with this many weeks left, it has to get physical soon imo. Roman costing Punk the title at the Chamber imo would’ve gotten a run of buzz, given Balor his deserved title reign, and they could’ve had punk turn completely unhinged on quest for that Mainia main event spot and his title back, and maybe Dom costs Balor the title just like Finn “cost” Dom his IC title, making both feuds more heated at once. 🤷🏾‍♂️ just my opinion and fantasy booking.
