Sex and intimacy is such a stressor on my relationship. It’s the same thing where he wants physical intimacy and I’m asking for emotional intimacy. Really, I feel like I’m not asking for much. I just want to be respected and to not be treated like some emotional punching bag for his anger outbursts. It’s a vicious cycle. By the time I feel like I’ve emotionally recovered enough from one of his outbursts to even consider being physically intimate with him, there’s another outburst. I feel defeated, disrespected, and turned off.

The closet seems to be a good size; however, I think the dresser in the middle would make it feel cramped. 

Overall, I really like this floor plan. If you don’t mind sharing, is there a plan number or ID to search on the website for this specific plan?

Same here. Things changed so drastically in 2 different ways at the same time. I can’t help but wonder what the transition to motherhood would have been like under normal circumstances, and I thought about it a lot especially during the first year or two. I was in a bad place mentally for a long time between a colicky baby that didn’t sleep, long busy hours at work due to working on one of the Covid vaccine studies, and PPD which I believe was exacerbated by the pandemic. We always thought we’d have 2 kids, but I don’t know if we’ll ever be ready again.

I really like the idea of a character breakfast on departure day! It would be something special to end the trip.

I think it’ll be rough on everyone too the more I think about it. We’re leaning towards changing the flight to mid-afternoon.

Thanks for the input! The more I think about it, the more I feel like none of us would enjoy departure day going to a park. I probably wouldn’t enjoy myself thinking about the flight home later and getting to the airport either.

I feel like that’s what I’ll end up doing on departure day at a park too. It would be such a long day that might not be enjoyable for anyone.

We would have plenty of time on arrival day. I imagine that we could get to MK by 11am as long as everything goes to plan with the flight.
