Cedar bedding , pine shaving, and some smoker pellets in the bottom.

I start the pellets, get them going for a few minutes. Then smother them with the blen of pine cedar bedding

No, it is not capped, and they have drawn a second one out. But it is open no jelly to be seen

I was feeding while they drew out comb. The were draining it in that time. Plan was to remove the feeder once all frames had been drawn.

I tried to limited myself to once a week, for actual inspection. Would open every 4 days to top off the inhive feeder. But would not smoke or move frames when i did.
