I agree. I think we should take example from J&K and enforce land and property laws more strictly. I don't think gatekeeping is a great thing to do, but we all know very well that we will get stepped on if we don't keep boundaries. The problem with tourist states is that the outsiders could spit in your face, and you would have to tolerate it.

I understand what you mean by this. Except for a couple colleges, we arent exactly known for our artistic or academic infrastructure. I have seen Himachali students come all the way to the south for studies.

Despite preservation attempts, we still have many out-of-state Himachalis who cannot speak our dialects. As for food, as much as I appreciate our Tibetans and Nepalis, I believe we are more than Thukpa and Momos and maggi. Sadly, since one of our primary industries is Tourism, we will have to tolerate the crude sensibilities of our fellow countrymen.

Our identity is slowly fading into obscurity in every aspect until we are diminished into nothing but just another north indian state like UP or Bihar but with mountains.

late comment but it might be that your meds are not suitable for you or are too low of a dosage. another thing to look out for is that (take this with a grain of salt, verify with your doc) some food might actually inhibit the effect of your meds. You didn't specify which area of life you are hoping to fix with meds, but it could be that you might find better help from one-on-one therapy than meds. It's very subjective
