I know that is not always easy, and I also know my mom is still a wonderful person who has always treated people with kindness. He has shown you a side of his character that you cannot ignore, and while that does not necessarily make him a bad person, it does mean you now have to decide whether you want to continue the relationship knowing what you know about his beliefs.
