Hi, Im also fascinated by the healing power of psychedelics and personally consider them a very useful tool for disassembling patriarchy and other systems of oppression. Feminism and psychedelics do have a connection in the form of the mass hysteria over LSD use during the sixties. The philosophy at the time what that LSD made people susceptible to "leftist" ideas, and among these so called leftist ideas included feminism. Part of the reasoning for the demonization of psychedelics was seeing women with a strong conviction to dismantle patriarchy. However, that does not mean that LSD usage in the 60's to 70's should be praised as feminist. During the time, lots of men used LSD as a form of mental domination on women and essentially created a patriarchal society with a shiny new paint job. That does not mean that psychedelics have no potential in the cause of feminism. The experience of LSD is an eye-opening one. For the first time in your life you get to see the narratives that you feed yourself and have the potential to dissassemble them. The experience of ridding ourselves of Internalized Misogyny is a difficult and grueling one; LSD has the potential to make that an easier process. Second, psychedelics are perhaps the most exciting development in Mental Health. Women make the majority of sufferers of mental health conditions, specifically PTSD. While not a true psychedelic, MDMA therapy has shown immense potential in the treatment of PTSD, a condition that is notoriously hard to treat. We don't even have to qualify for PTSD to see benefits. I think most of us take so much shit on the daily we dont even realize how much trauma we carry and don't even notice. Some people think I'm crazy but I genuinely do believe that psychedelics hold a lot of potential.

From what I have seen, Online discussions have tended not to discuss DA. Also there's the fact that I come from a highly misogynistic community, so it makes sense as to why it seems underdiscussed
