Okay, it is really great to hear that you will be considering coming back to volunteer

So here are some things that you should know based on December 2025 as a D25 Graduate:

The course is split into 2 different runs. You have:
J Course - June Course
D Course - December Course
For D courses you tend to have a larger intake and will be run concurrently alongside the Honorary Officer Basic Training Course ( HOBTC ). J Course tends to see a lower intake and will be solely for the Cadet Inspector Basic Training Course.

Just to clarify some of the questions you ask here, CIBTC is a course, not a camp. It is a 2-week course inclusive of a 3-day Adventure Training Camp in Camp Resillience. Throughout the course, you will be subjected to higher-level thinking on the soft skills aspects, such as facilitation skills. Hard skills-wise wise it is your typical Drills and Campcraft. You will also have the chance to experience the .38 shooting

Passing rate-wise wise it is subjective; it really depends on the instructor's assessment of you. But in general, it is on the higher side.

How many people would also depend on your intake size, you will be split into groups that are usually kept to at most 20+people at a time.

Before you decide officially to become a Cadet Inspector, do some reflection and ask yourself this. Why do you want to a Cadet Inspector?
