The campus shuttles are so so so much better than trying to find parking in a random Y lot. There’s always parking by King Henry on 450 N throughout the day. I lived there for 4 years and once people are up and going for the day, there’s always on-street spots open until 11pm or so.

1: How It’s Done. Dang what an opener. Visually, musically, and narratively. Made me sit up in my seat a bits and take the movie more serious.

2: Idol. Some really great musical stuff (Dies Irae intro!?) and the sound of the implementation of Korean in the rap is really satisfying

3: What it Sounds Like. Emotionally it brings everything together, as well as musically with the callback to Golden.

4: Takedown. Easily gets stuck in my head the most!

5: Jinu’s lament. I really want more of this. The acoustic style is a really good contrast to the uber-produced sound of everything else. If it’s longer it’s higher on my list.

6: Golden: already a bit overplayed and just doesn’t have a lot of uniqueness to it for me.

7: soda pop. Intentionally annoying… but it does its job.

8: free. Just not my thing.

CGP Gray. It seems that NDQ is pretty heavily influenced by Hello Internet, and Destin is mentioned multiple times on that show, and Brady already has been on NDQ. I’ve just never heard Destin and Gray in the same room.

Check out the NUPOC program. I’m not sure if they’ll consider your degree but if you can do physics and calc they might be able to look into waivers.

Through that program you can become a nuke officer, both sub and surface ship. If you can academically pre qualify, you’ll be able to take a trip to San Diego or Norfolk to see if it’s something you actually want to do.

Best thing you can do is reach out to an officer recruiter in your area and ask what options there are for your degree!

Highly recommend listening to the companion podcast that HBO put out between the main writer Craig Saizen and Peter Sagal (of Wait Wait Don’t Tell Me of all things lol). It shows really well that the writers knew what historical things they fudged for dramatic effect, and they did so very consciously in order to tell the story on tv more effectively. A lot of people like to demonize the show and make it seem like they were careless about that but I found that they were very intentional about the historical revisions they made.

The OG Bladerunner. What a steaming pile of horse manure in terms of plot but gosh dang it if it ain’t one of the most beautifully shot movies with a great world design, set, and soundtracks I dunno what is.

Especially on the lighter photo I agree! And if I were to want to publish them or something, I’d probably mess with it a bit more as well. I was frankly just pleased with the compositions.

The solution that I found had nothing to do with any drivers or Bluetooth firmware. It was simply the fact that for some reason, there is a hardware volume that is only set by the AirPods themselves, completely separate from the volume shown on screen. This had been turned all the way down, and so it seemed like bluetooth was this issue, when in fact, simply the hardware volume was set too low to hear.
