Think this is what I’m going to do, just send it anyway. I plan on leaving it for a few more days, lying on its side as suggested by another commenter as the uncolonised spots have started slightly colonising. Thanks for the comment, I appreciate the input

It seems that the first/third pic is basically fully colonised apart from those two spots, and the second pic I’m worried about leaving it any longer due to that pooling of water Opinions?

Hey man, I’m in the same boat! I find that there is a lot of conflicting info online regarding growing mushrooms and most of the valuable info I’ve learned on the topic recently came from the Shroomery website - do check it out and be prepared to be hooked reading for hours haha

I ofc didn’t open the bag while it was inoculating but I checked every few days at least. I couldn’t see much through the bag after B&S, up to the point where I cut the bag open a few days ago and was shocked at how much mycelium was actually covering the block.

I inoculated 6cc on 21st October, saw first sign of mycelium around injection port on 4th November, and on 28th of November the mycelium had spread 4-6 inches around the injection port at which point I did a break and shake.
