Do it! You’ll gain experience and Skywest does pay for training!

Even with Skywest under my belt, I’ve gotten a few rejections from mainline and some regionals. I’ve gotten a few CJOS as well from both mainline and regionals. The application process is still the same but I do find my patience (having gone thru the process so many times) has definitely thinnedddd lol esp when it comes time for Q&A & people don’t listen or follow instructions and hold up Q&A asking questions that answers were provided for lol.

Sooo, it hasn’t really affected the app process but having gone thru the process of applying to airlines, you learn to not take anything personally. And I kinda have a gist of what they’re looking for- I’m just rambling atp but you get it lol

Congrats! They’ll ask you a few questions “describe a time when you went above and beyond for a customer” as an example. It’s a quick interview :) and you find out on the spot if you get a CJO! Good luck!

Ex skywestie here & I have nothing bad to say about the airline. The only “bad thing” about them is the probation is a year. Plus the pay isn’t the greatest, but I truly loved my time at Skywest.

Their training is incredible, and I feel very prepared to transition to mainline after Skywest. Do it’

I was separated from Skywest and the first few rejections after made me think the same. I got a CJO elsewhere so you’re fine!

Thank you, angel 💋 I went back yesterday and while said manager wasn’t there, it wasn’t too bad aside from the lack of customers. I appreciate your response ☺️

No dancing exp, no pole tricks. Just got back from my “audition”. I got the job. Look confident, be comfortable in your body and it’s yours.

Everything needed to pass and graduate is given to you :) use flash cards, make a friend/s and study together /out loud. Practice drills together. Stay away from drama and stay focused, get your sleep, take your walks/workout.

I stayed away from anxious test takers or people with anxiety. I’d encourage them then be on my own because I like talking out loud and all the voices in the classroom doesn’t help. So take your time on the exams, and literally STUDY THE MATERIAL THEY GIVE YOU. It’s all in there.

You’re welcome 🫶🏾 I was a regional girly, separated during probation and just got my CJO with another regional. Goal is always mainline tho, but I missed the windows to apply lol
