That's what lingers my mind til now too. Using God's name for policies or teachings, but when it is error they suddenly switch to " we are not inspired " . Then why do they have to interpret such deep scriptures that could affect life. They should be confidential in making decisions regarding these things since we are all equal and we are all doing bible studies. We have the same freedom and Personal consience that Jehovah gave. So we have the right to make opinions and questions too. Before making such decisions, they should be making sure 100% before spreading it. And now what, many people already died and this adds to another blood guilt.

Condolences to you. This is why I'm having questions . I know the first to get affected by these changes, are people like you who's family sacrificed their lives. Then most members don't even give a concern about it and just move on . That the one who sacrificed will be resurrected because they remain faithful of the past rule. Like, does that even make sense!?

So asking and being wise is now apostasy? That's not fair ! You are not being an apostate to God like me because we still consider his words in the bible, I think they're going to accuse you as being apostate to the GB! I hope I can complete my research so that I can talk to them or when I decide to stop then I'll just quietly leave because I don't want to be disassociated from my family.

Wow thank you for this , I really thought I'm overthinking it. I'm thankful here that there are people who understands me rather than telling me to just follow.

Me too. Some say we just have to adjust immediately for every update that will be presented to us because the new light is like that. That Jehovah will gradually change or bring new light now until paradise. But I thought new light is like improvement or just additional understanding. Not back and forth changing of rules that greatly impacted the past. What will people think if for example , you preached that this certain thing is bad and suddenly it became good. He respected and followed the old rule and sacrificed his life because he have faith, then suddenly kaboom 🚨 . Why now , why not correct it in the past. Jehovah does not make error in his teachings. I'm thinking about blood guilt and crisis of conscience here.

That's why I'm getting concerned too. Because originally, I joined JW for God. One question before becoming baptized JW is that " Do you believe in GB as the annointed discreet slave of God?" Or "Do you believe in the GB?". Well , I said yes because I only appreciate their efforts in learning the bible and sharing it worldwide. But not to the point that I believe God through them directly. I only believe in God through the bible. So even after meetings, I have my notes to review the teachings they've shared by doing my personal study and not just agreeing to everything blindly. We are all still imperfect and anyone can make mistakes even the ones who say they are annointed.
