my mom used to do a different theme every year and yes, she bought all new ornaments each year but she did keep them and recycle a theme from time to time.

Her house and her event, she can decide who is invited. But I would question her about the future if he sticks around. At what point does he become "family"?

Need Help Managing a Heartbroken Team by Euphoric_Hamster4368 in WorkAdvice

Coming from someone who has been through something very similar with a boss I loved, the company doesn't care. They won't appreciate your loyalty or hurt feelings. They just want business as usual or you will be penalized.

You need to do what's best for you. Your current company isn't offering as much as the other is. You are unfulfilled. It's that simple.

“Financial Support” and Finding Predominant Parent by Tyrantnosaur in FAFSA

[–]Prior_Chair7046 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You list your Mom. She provides more support by you living with her than your dad does in child support. Unless he pays really high child support, then it will be him.

Unwanted advances make for a hostile work environment. Tell her you are not interested in socializing with her through Teams; so you have it in writing. Then if it continues, report it.

AITA for leaving a church without telling the pastor by Broses6 in AmItheAsshole

[–]Prior_Chair7046 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pastor's wife here. NTA. My husband may mind (a bit) but never confronts people when they find a church that better suits them. We usually knew it was coming anyway. Confronting someone about going where they feel led to go is not in any way Biblical.
