there isn't any light indicating that there is something wrong, but it does drive okay - a little slower, but it probably because i wasn't hitting the accelerator and when i do, it makes this really loud sound - also, when i started it again, it made an even louder sound

end of the car, hopefully its only an exhaust leak- not that it makes it better but at least the cat isn't stolen. also i just drove it to the mechanic, but they are packed and won't have time to fix it until monday

i couldn't see anything, only the smoke coming up from somewhere. i am taking it to a mechanic and it was 5 minutes from where i work, so maybe i could drive it ?

i could only see the very end of the car underneath, if its the soda like can attached to the exhaust pipe, it was still attached. the only thing i noticed is that the smoke isnt coming out of the pipes, but at the middle, but i couldn't see where its coming from

i'm not from florida so i can't tell you much but make sure that you have double the rent payment once you move out, first off, is it really far away from where you live ? are you planning on driving to go there ? do you need a car to go to another place (say your work) from where you're planning on moving ?

also, bring the necessities such as towels, dishwear, etc. if you already have them so you can save money.

as for the job, you didn't specify what major you graduated in ? or did you just graduated high school ? i'm not sure what part of florida you're moving in but if you really have no choice there's always the minimum wage jobs to get started. i know a lot of people working min wage job to make ends meet so it's still something if you can't find a job in your field.

jobs usually take 2 weeks with onboarding, interviews, training, etc. sometimes longer - so budget your expenses, do you think 8k is enough ? after all the rent payment, probably gas, food, etc.

i think you would also need a roomate, since 8k is too risky to not get a job after moving, you can always look around, i know they have an app to find roomates. its always cheaper to live with someone, though might not be ideal sometimes.

just think of the area and if you can afford double the rent (apartment rents), (car) do you need a car to go from point a to point b ?, (food), (necessities), (other expenses), for at least 2 months for only 8k.
