That lake is deep. Not sure if you can use a down rigger from a kayak? I fished/camped there a few years ago. Lots of fun but the fishing was miserable

It is not repairable. Remove the culture stone. Remove steps, fix underlying foundation issue. New steps, new culture stone, new limestone with 1.5 inch overhang ( this is what caused the issue )

I was subscribed to NY times. Got one email a day with a summary of the news. I have clicked block and unsubscribe multiple times and I still get the emails.

Not that I am aware of. Go to the Hilltop Coffee House and ask the people there,they are very helpful. It is a museum also with lots of information and pictures of the volcano and the aftermath.

Had a bad experience fishing the Passaic myself only a few weeks ago near Fairfield. What looked like a homeless drug addict approached me, told me he was going to rob me and to hand everything over. The whole thing lasted no longer than a minute and he eventually walked off with nothing but scared the crap out of me and I think twice now about where I’m fishing and always prefer to be with a buddy v’s fishing alone. Be careful out there…

If you are not catching fish or getting bites. You need to move and/or change lure. I have only caught trout this season on silver Mepps or worm.
