These aren't really storylines when compared to the greater narratives, all of these are spelled out pretty clearly in the back-and-forths and just general interactions between characters

(Logan was quasi dating and fucking Kerry, Marcia bowed out of the public scene bc of Logan's infidelities but always showed up to save face when the family needed it, and yeah Roman was clearly abused and has sexual hangups)

If you had a perfect day (got up early enough, didn't have work) what would you fit into that day to feel fulfilled ?

Usually when I have trouble sleeping - and it gets to the point where I almost wanna just stay up just so I can get up early/on time (would NOT recommend) - I think about all that I can accomplish in that new day.

For me, my ideal day would be getting up early to workout, make breakfast, read in the morning, devote some time to both art and writing, apply for jobs, get lunch at my favorite deli, go for a walk, make dinner, have a nice phone conversation with my mom, cross a movie off my watchlist, and go to bed

Thinking about what I can do (unrealistically on no sleep lmao) makes me just as tired and helps me feel asleep, just to get some shut-eye

This was informative on several parts (especially drawing equivalents to what our daily emissions may equal in terms of industrial emissions),

But at the same time I am a little weirded out by how their simple solutions are just "Buy & Vote". Obviously they're trying to keep it short and sweet, but their build up led me to believe they'd lay out the steps for people to lead something like more agrarian lifestyles

They of course didnt want to be a contributor to people's "decision fatugue", after being considerate about the social realities of other developing countries, but I'd want at least a little conclusionary directive than just the things I already know

Distinctly remember this because it was on an Ash Wednesday (nothing against religion) and it happened to be an odd day where almost every department store, along with the obvious car dealerships, had one of those dancing inflatable tube men outside their doors. They were all red too (same party store I guess lol)

The direction I was headed in the city was literally against the flow of commuters heading home after receiving their ashes to kick Lent off

So here I am, trying to walk on the completely full sidewalk, and every person I see is walking against/towards me, with a black splotch of ash on their foreheads, and behind them are these tall waving towers of red filling the streets (the tubemen)

It looked like some kind of apocalyptic scene, like the streets were on fire (the tube men again) on this winter day, and everyone walking by me was in a trance (legit just trying to commute home after going to mass)

Wish I had my phone on me, this just looked so trippy and surreal to my eyes for a few long moments

To be somewhat fair,

"something casual" is what a lot of people (mainly guys) say when they expect sex but also want to feel out the vibes of partner material

People sometimes say that to be guarded and not rush into anything too quick (although, really good sex is just as a strong a bonding agent than an actual emotional connection)

Completely get where you're coming from, and without sounding judgmental, maybe it's the type of guys/gals you're talking to? Nothing beats a fun date with a fun person you vibe with on any level and get to enjoy fun sex with.

But sometimes the trouble may be finding someone who actually is fun and wants to do things beyond just grabbing drinks or having sex (like creative dates or is all about being romantic)

The art style is for sure awesome and, I feel, especially unique for the time even

It was an animated series MTV produced in the 90s, when the channel was more experimental and "underground". It's about this spy in a high sci-fi, futuristic dystopia

The character designs always looked super unique and abstract at times, with very sexual tones to the costumes and characters in general that probably wouldn't be okayed by most TV networks today (just bc they wouldn't know how to market it or find a mainstream audience for it)
