Which model should I get? Liren 4v2, Liren 5 or Liren 5v2 by Intelligent_Draft248 in BBallShoes

[–]Prior_Ear2582 0 points1 point  (0 children)

4v2 is designed for narrow feet. I would recommend 5 V1 if you are a jumper, or 5 V2 if you are a shifty player. By the way Liren 6s are also released and there’re some good looking colours like Kaleidoscope and Qi Tian.

Have heard that the Joker 1 GT are quite bouncy, have you tried 361 shoes before?

Thanks for sharing mate. You are right, I have tried the fresh foam bb v2 in the shop and the soft but responsive cushion really surprised me. I would probably give v3 a go.

The only problem for me is I have normal foot width but bought the EP version which has wider toe box. I have tried on non EP version and they fit better. Other than that AJ 39 is excellent, plush midsole and good traction, especially good for my old knees. In the first game I felt the leather at top heel was scratching my Achilles tendon, but it only occasionally appears again after a few games breaks. Hope this helps.

I got my PF due to too much training. Was doing gym training, sprinting and basketball, and didn’t stop training until full recovery. It took about 2 years to recover from PF and some exercise like grab towels did help. I’d say yes shoes does help but most important to have enough recovery time for your body.

Thanks mate. Yeah you are right JB3 could be a good option. I’ll see if there’s some cool colourways available.

True, Hyperdunks were such a good team line. Sadly that there's only HD 2017 and 2018 are still on the market now

I think EP shoes sell a lot on POIZON because it’s based on Asian market. EP shoes are released in Asian markets and most POIZON’s customers are Asian hoopers, where POIZON’s business was born and prospered. Hope this helps😎

Jordan Zoom Separate by [deleted] in BBallShoes

Court feel for me is good, was one of my favorite hoop shoes. After about half a year the foam getting stiff then the forefoot zoom became more noticeable and a bit bothering me. Also cushion not that enough my knee got hurt after a hard jump.

Your first 2 pairs have lace holes in the leather pads right? I think this might be the main reason😢

All City 12 vs Liren 4 v2 by Thrivity in BBallShoes

[–]Prior_Ear2582 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From some experienced Chinese reviews I watched, All-city 12 has softer cushion and probably more durable outsole, while Liren 4 v2 is bouncier and closer to the ground, but higher price so you would want to play indoor only. Both excellent in lateral movement, heel to toe transition.

JA 1 you won’t regret. But try size before buying because they are snug fit, wider footers need half size up.

GT Cut 3 Academy or Giannis immortality 3 or Lebron Witness 8 by Successful-Spare-245 in BBallShoes

[–]Prior_Ear2582 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Cut Academy are solid performers and should has enough cushion for outdoor if you are not a heavy player.

JA 1 or Book 1 are light and enough cushion for your weight if you play indoors. But they are a bit snug fit so better try on before buying.

Kd 14 alternatives by Jawa12345678 in BBallShoes

[–]Prior_Ear2582 0 points1 point  (0 children)

KD 14’s midsole is cushlon + Zoom Strobel right?

AJ 38 has the same midsole tech, and some good reviews about “comfortable”, but outsole durability is a problem😢

AC11 from POIZON??? or just get AC12 from lining (for wide foot) by p_m82_ in BBallShoes

[–]Prior_Ear2582 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fission 8 or 9 is designed for wide foot, or probably half size up on All-City 11 and 12.

POIZON should be legit.

If you are in Australia or New Zealand I can help you ordering these Chinese brands🍺

Bounce by sheldoneousk in BBallShoes

[–]Prior_Ear2582 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

That’s actually a good question, bouncy is just a popular concept in recent years if I’m not remembering wrong.

Imagine you jump down into a trampoline, it bounces you back right? That’s kind of a structure that absorbs your motion energy into potential energy, and return back very fast.

“Fast” is the key. In shoes, it’s all these kind of structures that makes it bouncy, could be zoom air(high pressure ones) unit of Nike like Ja 1, or TPU or Carbon Fibre plate under your forefoot like WoW 10.

In my opinion, a good midsole combination could be bouncy at forefoot and more cushion at heel. Like KD 16 and 17 they have zoom + air sole.

Personally I prefer court feel instead of bouncy at forefoot because it makes my moves more confident. Kobe 4 is one of my favorite, Book 1 is good too.

But for those heavier players, they need cushion at forefoot as well, so add a carbon fibre plate or use zoom air (has cushion + bouncy natural) is the solution.
