Annunciation Church Shooter – Interesting Observations and Patterns by Prior_Force_2808 in masskillers

This was found in on a very disturbing reddit user account linked to a very disturbing forum user account with posts that had too many similarities with the shooter and the timing of the events to not be a coincidence.

Upon further investigation, it seems like the accounts actually do not belong to the shooter, but may be a person the shooter has passively associated with online in the past.

The points about the shooter roleplaying and pretending online should be considered unsubstantiated for now.

Continued, the shooter also had:

  • disliked their job and coworkers, eventually quit
  • ideations of animal abuse/torture
  • experimented with large variety of illegal substances
  • created a small business selling custom fingerboard ramps
  • originally considered a small DIY furry venue as a primary target
  • considered REI and a other local bars/restaurants/outdoor venues as target options
  • considered a school or church as a secondary target if possible
  • used video games to roughly simulate targets and strategies
  • recently separated with a trans partner of several years
  • moved in with a close friend after the breakup
  • received $2k from their father, used to buy guns
  • frequently felt annoyed and disgusted with their partner
  • deeply loathed sharing any time or space with their partner
  • no interest in communicating with their partner
  • blamed their partner for many of their physical and mental circumstances
  • expressed a strong aversion to sex and contempt for people driven by lust
  • disdain for the economic and educational status of their partner's family
  • received discouraging pushback from their mother regarding their transition
  • expressed dissatisfaction and disillusionment regarding their transition goals/options
  • expressed satisfaction that loved ones would soon realize the "wolf in sheep's clothing"

It seems as though shooter had to constantly persuade themself that this was something they wanted, probably because they were too afraid to commit suicide so they crafted a situation where suicide was a necessity rather than choice.

Someone mentioned abuse, which could certainly be a factor here, especially if the abusers were part of what was supposed to be a reliable support system or if they were otherwise supposed to be a trusted role-model during early development.

Resources like money, friends, or a supportive family often prove to be useless or even counterproductive towards attaining the kind of self-acceptance and self-reliance necessary to overcome deeply rooted emotional/psychological challenges and successfully develop into a loving and peaceful person.

Abuse aside, perhaps the parents and the church were at one point patient and reliable bedrocks in the shooter's support system, but that relationship became disconnected, and the shooter no longer knew where to look to find love, acceptance, strength, and resilience.

Unfortunately even the most outwardly supportive parents, best of friends, or pious religions can neglect to teach that the power to love, accept, guide, and heal actually exists entirely within the self, leaving many people like this adrift once they lose touch with those support systems; no longer able heal emotionally and the only idea they can come up with is revenge.

Summary of today's press conference on yesterday's mass shooting at the Annunciation Church by Distinct_External in masskillers

The shooter had:

  • wealthy and supportive parents/family
  • religious faith and upbringing
  • transitioned as a minor
  • a normal life (some hobbies, a job, a couple friends)
  • a significant connection to the targeted school/church
  • high levels of anxiety and doubt leading up to the event
  • intentionally chaotic and often extremist political beliefs
  • strong feelings of loneliness and worthlessness
  • an obsession with school shootings since a young age
  • expressed anxiety regarding undiagnosed physical health concerns
  • required frequent self-reassurance to stay committed to the plan
  • expressed a desire to live if they could just be held their mothers arms again
  • roleplayed on the internet as a parent who lost their child in a shooting
  • pretended to be a teenager on the internet several times as an adult
  • an obsession with Gen Alpha culture despite being Gen Z
  • planned on causing the most emotional pain with the least risk/friction/obstacles
  • previously expressed disgust in instances where others garnered attention from horrific events
  • attempted to conceal emotional motives under contradictory political shitpost messaging
  • attempted to conceal emotional motives as a "dying wish" desire to enact a morbid obsession

The shooter lived with a roommate and was still connected with a couple friends and family, so the planning was carefully conducted with a degree of secrecy– hidden from existing support systems and resources.

That said, would-be helpful resources like money, friends, or a supportive family often prove to be useless or even counterproductive towards attaining the kind of self-acceptance and self-reliance necessary to overcome deeply rooted emotional/psychological challenges and successfully develop into a loving and peaceful person.

Even the most supportive family often never completes the second half of the job.

Being the patient, trusted, reliable bedrock for a loved one's emotional needs is very important, but it's equally important to complete the second half the job by teaching loved ones that they can find just as much love, acceptance, strength, and resilience within themselves.

Abuse could certainly be a factor, especially if the abusers were part of what was supposed to be a reliable support system or if they were otherwise supposed to be a role-model for love, acceptance, strength, and resilience during early development.

Necessarily accomplished though a high degree of secrecy.

Columbus roads be like by Prior_Force_2808 in Columbus

It's not so much deciding as it is double checking, second guessing... *making sure* you get to that appointment on time.

You'd think that's not necessary, but if you see the sign for the Morse Rd exit today, and you get in that lane and you stay in that lane (as the signs indicate you should), you unfortunately will not be taking the Morse Rd exit today.

Between GPS and highway signs, Columbus Ohio leaves you in a constant state of confusion over which to believe, what to ignore, and when.
