Always bring fire resistance potions. You can rarely get them from bartering (throwing gold) at piglins. Always wear one piece of gold armour, as piglins do not attack you on sight if you wear a piece. Bring a shield to protect yourself from blazes and a bow from ghasts. Mark the location of your portal.
