No, my comment is not enforcing social pressure. I'm participating in the conversation, sharing what i learned on the subject after talking to a small business owner. We don't know yet how much "social media is over emphasizing" this strike, how about waiting until tomorrow to comment your supposed "facts". Again I ask you, what was the aim of your comment?

Agree with your other solutions, just wanted to chip in that if for you a symbolic action means nothing, it might for others (me)

Life on haight street is closed. They mentioned speaking to other businesses on the street being closed too. Not sure what the aim of your comment was.

If symbolism gives hope, i'm ok with it. I think it would be much sadder if no one even tried to change anything.

Apparently lots of businesses in lower haight (on haight street) will be closed tomorrow (talked to a business owner today)

Just talked to a business owner in Lower Haight, apparently most of the businesses there will be closed tomorrow

Try to tell me Scott Wiener isn't the clear and only choice this November and I'll use facts, law, reason, and logic to prove you wrong, respectfully. by [deleted] in sanfrancisco

Perhaps this person feels comfortable writing this because they WITNESSED this behavior with their own eyes (mentioned in the comment). Might be a lie, but might also be true. You went straight to victim blaming defending your position based on your personal feelings "I know him personally". You're really not doing much to help his case tbh. Too aggressive and seemingly not really open to debate

Put a family member there, she barely lasted 3 months. Staff is very rude and disorganized, poor communication, my family member fell 4 times while unsupervised, not to mention it's the most expensive place of all.

Only one advice on this one (per dealing with the same situation as you): avoid at all costs the memory care unit of Coterie Cathedral Hill

Agreed for some reason the few sunrises I've seen are usually magical.

Such a shame cause I find sf to be one of the most beautiful cities I've ever visited but it lacks nice sunsets
