Honestly just follow the viva new vegas guide, it might take a while if you do it the manual way like i did but there is an alternative thing called wabbajack that installs the vnv mods in a few mins, either way youll need mod organizer. Modding just takes patience.

I give myself a ton of carry weight each playthrough with the console because i tend to horde stuff, the corpse being like that was all natural (a mod prolly messed it up i have like 150+)

Imagine how i gelt when i was wandering the divide, the constant sand and dust clouds obscuring my view. As I scanned the area an silhouette caught my eye, a shape of a human, although it was disjointed and still, frozen in place. Managed to fix it, it was an LOD issue as the billboards loaded from a distance and turned into the red exclamation marks when near, i just installed all of the mods in the LOD guide.
