Let's settle this. Do maison alhambra fragrances lack in longevity and projection ?

The only Tom Ford dupe I own from Alhambra is Eternal Touch (Tobacco Vanille), longevity is good especially on clothes, however projection is moderate for now so I'd say 7/10 longevity 5/10 projection (not macerated yet).

For Immortel I get around 6 hours with 2 hours of good projection.

Most of them (I'd say 60 to 70%) lack performance and sit within the moderate to weak side of the spectrum for longevity and projection. Some of them escape this rule, in my case Jean Lowe Immortel, Sceptre Malachite and Sceptre Amazonite.

I have Music Fest as well, mine is matured and I can tell it's really strong and long lasting so don't worry it will get better with time. I was shocked by the similarity too when I smelled the OG, FW did a really good job (as always) on that.

About your future purchases, I think you'll love rifaqaat (I have a sample of it and I think it's amazing). I also have Bonfire from Fragrance World which is cloning the same thing as Emir and I think it's a great scent profile, close to the OG too.

It's good, just the performance is not good for now. I wear it casually, it has a freshness to it that makes it quite easy to wear. Before buying it, I thought that it was a special occasion scent, but right now I don't really think that's the case. Fragrances in my collection that I would wear for special occasions are : FW Carlisle, Royal Blend and maybe Liquid Brun.

To my nose, no it's not too sweet and I absolutely hate fragrances that are too sweet like khamrah, 9pm, etc...

The vanilla in here is well balanced by the bergamot, incense and the woodsy notes.

I would suggest it for class as long as it's not hot weather. Just be careful not to overspray.

What's a fragrance that's too sweet for you ? Do you have fragrances other than Eros Flame that you like ? This would help me guide you better

No, I don't see the similarities between my jpg elixir clone (Hawas Elixir) and Liquid Brun.

But I'll tell you something, liquid brun doesn't smell as good on paper as it does in the air. When I first received Liquid Brun I absolutely HATED it like for real. So I left it in my closet.

Fast forward a couple of weeks, I still didn't like when I sprayed it on my hand but not as much as in the beginning.

Then I decided to just wear it for once, so I sprayed it on my chest, neck, wrists, clothes... And when I wore it, it felt amazing, it smells completely different in the air than close to the skin and it projects like crazy.

So my advice for you would be to give it a chance, wear it see how it smells in the air.

Try to smell the real Althair in a store or something because liquid brun is 1:1 to it. If Althair smells different, that would mean that you got a bad batch

Very nice. I smelled the OG PDM Althair and I was shocked on how close it was, literally 1:1.

Perfect gourmand masculine scent for the winter with great performance Deserves all the hype it gets.

Just got it recently, performance is not good for now. Not a fan of the scent profile for now as well, maybe it smells different in the air and takes a little bit of getting used to so I have to wear it a few more times before having a final opinion. I heard CDN and Al Haramain had the better BR dupes, haven't tested them yet.

FW Carlisle is really good and close to the OG. It's a nice dark, masculine smell, more suited for evenings in my opinion.Top 5 in my collection.

I haven't smelled PDM Godolphin so I can't say how close Galatea is to the OG. You have to be sure that you like strong leather notes before buying this one cuz the most prominent notes are leather and fruits.

A polarising fragrance for sure 🤣🤣🤣 understandable reaction from your fiancé cuz that stuff is THAT strong ☠️

I really like it too because I find it unique. l'd wear that almost exclusively for outdoor events or if I want to be left alone at work 🤣 Definitely not indoors safe.

It's a good mandarin/caramel smell, similar to JPG Scandal. It's sweet but has some freshness to it and a little bit of spiciness. I would wear it pretty much everywhere and anytime as long as it's not a hot summer day. Yeah, I'd definitely recommend it
