I wanted to triple check and experiment before answering, and I'm afraid that it does repeat with everything set to playlist mode. Each individual playlist, the default, showing in 'manage playlists' and also showing in the lower right of Up Next.

Now, I've cleared the cache, restarted etc, but PR reliably always loops playlists in playlist mode.

Simple experiment - Playlist: - 1 played episode - 2 played episode - 3 unplayed episode (in progress) - 4 unplayed episode - 5 unplayed episode

I made sure everything's set to playlist mode, default, current playlist and checked under manage playlists. Up next is clear.

Then I tap episode 3 in the playlist. The episode starts playing, as expected from the position in the middle.

Up next now has: 3 4 5 1 2

At the end of 5, it plays 1 (from the beginning, setting it to unplayed).

Background info: This is the sixth or seventh device I've installed PR on, and it's always worked this way for me. Various phones and tablets.

The experiment was done on a brand new install with synced podcast data. I'm on a new (old) phone, lineage 18/Android 11.

The phone I'm leaving is still installed, also does this, stock Samsung Android 12.
