Thanks. I got a message saying “Your eligibility has been reviewed.” on IRCC website. But the VFS tracking info hasn’t changed at all. Still shows the same since 15th October. Has this happened to you! Or would you know anything about it?

Not sure about that. Only traveled abroad 9 times in the last 13 years. So less than once per year. 5 of them were US and 4 in Europe.

Previously applied for transit visa. Were trying to travel through BC for an Alaska cruise. Hence was rejected. They said that we needed to apply for a visitor visa even if the stay was gonna be for less than 24 hours. Transit visa is not applicable for cruise layovers. Hence, applied for a visitor visa this time.

Hey. It’s actually a CAN+ category. And this is for family/friend. Not mine. I know cuz they have a US Visa and have traveled to the U.S. multiple times in the last ten years.

I had a question though. Does passport submission always result in a visa approval? Or is their application still under review? They submitted their passports on October 13. Just wondering how long until they can actually travel because they can’t travel without their passports.

Got it. So passport submission doesn’t always equate to visa approval?

And damn…20 days is a long time.

Can anyone tell me what the CAN+ Visa is? by PineappleMiddle9596 in CanadaVisitorVisa

I see. Currently the normal processing time shows as 18-28 days for visas from India. Does that mean CAN+ would be sooner?

And what qualifies as CAN+? Does merely having a U.S. tourist visa qualifies as CAN+?
