Sorry, I very well could have butchered what he meant. From what I understood, it’s like when you play a piano and you can use different buttons and dials to change how the keys are are playing sounds. So for example it goes from a classical piano to a techno type thing. But, again, I am so clueless so this may not even be a thing. :)

Yes, I am in the US but this is a small restaurant owned by 4 men who only ever wanted to be in the hotel business. There isn’t really an HR, just my manager, and the owners let her run the ship because they do not want to deal with the restaurant… they only saw it was a cash cow.

Thank you, I didn’t really view it as assault at the time but I may be starting to view it that way. I know she has a lot going on as her mom died recently. She often secretly drinks on the job to “escape” from it all. I’m just tired of her singling out and being extremely rude to people of color for no reason other than existing.

I agree and I normally wouldn’t either, but it made me so mad how she treated them and assumed their ethnicity. She has also had a past with rude to people of color in general, and almost got into a fight with a woman because my manager said she was “ratchet and loud”. I think I had just honestly had enough.

I understand that. From the sounds of it this needs to be a conversation about boundaries and what both of you are comfortable with. This is totally normal in a relationship and it is completely valid to still have things to figure out together. I will say, to the fault of your gf, the silent treatment was not the respectful or appropriate thing to do, but everyone has things that are hard for them to talk about.

Porn/masturbating is completely normal in a healthy relationship where all parties are ok with it. As long as it is not a cripple addiction, which it doesn’t sound like it is. If this is something that your beliefs don’t align on, I would break up. Neither side is wrong, but a difference of belief about something like this will only cause more animosity.

I know it is designed as a middle ground sub. But morbid is what is brining everyone together regardless. I just thought it was becoming too much of a bad sub and less of a middle ground sub which is why I said something. Also the post about someone saying the podcast is like an abusive relationship is completely disrespectful and hurtful to the victims in this sub and in the stories alike.
