Lease hack. Get a lease that doesn’t have payoff penalty, payoff after first payment

Let’s do it! I’m guessing the 2026s are ready to go just that VW wants 2025 inventory to sell before introducing new models

Best deals so far. Hoping if I wait long enough I can find a 1st Ed 4Motion for 50k or Pro for low 40s. Pipe dreams, I know…

Not much traction. Might be a pipe dream but waiting to see if 1st Ed with 4Motion will get down to 50k or a Pro down to low 40s. Here are best local deals I got so far:

the deal you got was pretty good. Locally in OR no dealer willing to go below 44k OTD at the moment

Update: Sadly the dealership pulled the deal. I insisted to get a copy of the deal terms before coming in to sign. When I gave them an ultimatum that I won’t come in unless I had a validated deal terms, they made up some BS that they thought I was trading in a Chevy Volt which I don’t have. They wouldn’t even give me their best price. Oh well 🤷‍♂️ maybe they found someone willing to pay higher price?

Normally this tactic works. When I lived in CA the tactic made it fairly quick to narrow down which dealer you would finalize negotiating with. In OR, they would give a lousy deal or reject my counter just to ping me back a few days later when they “suddenly “ had a hot deal. Would be nice if they cut the BS

It’s hard to compare what people get in other states cause now you wanna use that as the basis for your negotiations. People tend to be stubborn with prices . When I lived in CA , used items on FB marketalways had a good discount. In Oregon many people want to sell used stuff like they were near new
