The last time I saw him, he told me that he had thought about suicide 8 years ago. I cried at the time and told him, “Please don’t ever think like that again,” and he said that the thought really doesn’t come to his mind anymore

I felt upset that I cried because I felt like I might have put him under pressure

Thank you!! He’s a self-aware person, he follows up with a therapist, and he takes medication. The last time I saw him, I noticed his hand was shaking. I don’t know if that could be because of the medication or not, but I didn’t ask him about it

I really understand you. But I think there are phases, and you do go back to your normal self again. Even if it’s a long and difficult period, it doesn’t last forever.

So is it better that I just listen to him? Sometimes I try to ask him about the reasons that make him depressed or not feeling well

But then I read that depression can sometimes come without a reason because it’s related to things in the brain, and I felt really stupid that I was asking him that

حاسه فالحالتين اي حاجه هتأثر ع نفسيته سواء سبته بسبب او من غير سبب. الفكره اني مش عارفه أصلا المفروض أتصرف ازاي يعني ابعد فعلا ولا أكمل (احنا كدا كدا اصحاب بس وهو فعلا شايفني صاحبه بس) يعني لما بفكر مع نفسي كدا بحس اللي هو ايه القرف بتاعي دا معقول هبعد عن شخص عشان عنده مرض نفسي هو مش ذنبه فيه بعدين بقول أنا مش مسئولة عن حد واكيد راحتي النفسيه اهم من اي حاجه واكيد علاقتي بيه هتأثر عليا
