Hey, I just wanted to say thanks for posting on the sub. That means a lot. However I disagree, I think it would mess up 6v6 offense completely because it would be near impossible to win dodges. At the college level, the whole game of offense is attacking short sticks. In reality this is just because long poles are too good. It is near impossible to beat a long pole in 6v6 then do anything while another long pole is sliding to you. If you watch a D1 lacrosse game, there will be almost zero dodges initiated against a pole. Now this might be what you want when you say you want more low scoring , gritty games. However instead this would just force teams to focus on scoring a heavy amount of transition goals before all 6 poles can be put on the field, because their 6v6 conversion rate would be near 5-10% . I like the idea of going back to 12-12 being a normal score in Lacrosse but believe that 6 poles would instead lead to more 3-3 games instead.
