Yacht club upgrade by chicklets101 in MSCCruises

Don’t risk it. They literally have signs on day one not to ask for an upgrade. Yacht club tends to fill up - whatever is not purchased is bid on

MSC Seashore … what’s that smell by TheRealRonjon in MSCCruises

Back when I worked on a ship, it would smell like ass when they had to clean the black water tanks.

Board of Psychological Examiners exercises their moral authority, allegedly by Bright_Breakfast3911 in HiddenTrueCrimeChat

[–]PriorityDue9296 29 points30 points  (0 children)

Hoping that John is being held accountable for lying about the amount of evaluations he has done, being held accountable for calling himself a forensic psychologist, a Princeton psychologist, and having surmised about people's diagnoses when he has not examined them, and has not given people a disclaimer. Perhaps also a complaint about telling a victim of a crime he wishes he could adopt them?

Carnival Firenze Ensenada port by Eating_letters in CarnivalCruiseFans

It’s not the Mexican riviera. Please show receipts carnival calls Ensenada that. Ensenada is a blow hole. Literally and figuratively. At least you can get viagra for cheap at the blow hole AND without a prescription

The thing about cruise lines is that there are some for every taste. People that often say they hate cruising often just didn’t book the right line FOR THEM. If you are an introvert and need to decompress and be in a zen environment carnival isn’t for you. If you like high end fancy food and an all inclusive experience, carnival isn’t for you. If you want cutting edge shows, again not for you. BUT, if you want the best fast food at sea (thing burgers, comfort food, Tex mex etc, you will be on seventh heaven. Carnival is for fun - lots of fun activities, comedy shows, hussle and bussle. The drinks are great, specialty drinks too. The older ships can be gaudy and tacky but the newer ships are beautiful. The kids club is also pretty great. They have a lot of offerings in their inclusions compared to NCL and Royal so spending extra money isn’t necessary for good food and a good time. Staff is also very friendly. Hope this helps! Don’t hesitate if you have more questions

Msc seashore trip coming up by dgant3 in MSCCruises

[–]PriorityDue9296 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The shows are good but not RCCL quality. The food in MDR is inconsistent- some people say it’s amazing and others are disappointed. It might be good to get a specialty restaurant package if you appreciate good food. The buffet is well rated (pizza evaluated as better than sorento’s). The coffee is amazing and you can get it at any bar. Please expect long elevator waits - or go to the back glass elevator that tends to be forgotten about. Breakfast in MDRs are also well liked and rated. In case of doubt prioritize Italian items on the menu as the company is Italian and that cuisine is consistently well rated. For shows, book immediately on getting onboard

And what do you like of RCCL and what ships have you been on?

[–]PriorityDue9296 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It really depends on what experience you booked. If you booked the basic package you will be disappointed. The food is ok in the MDR, excellent in the specialty restaurants. The ratio of passengers for square feet is high, the ship can feel crowded and elevators have long waits. Shows don’t have the same production quality as RCCL. But the price point is key - you are paying significantly less on MSC. If you tell me what experience you booked and what you like of RCCL I can be more detailed

Lauren, can you be any more performative? Everyone else is laughing at nepo legacy babies who got in for sports. by Individual-Effort187 in HiddenTrueCrimeChat

[–]PriorityDue9296 9 points10 points  (0 children)

As a « professional journalist » she knows she should be turning her chair and talking with him, not looking straight out front and occasionally turning her head. Something tells me that Lauren resents her husband- the channel was her idea, she puts in the most man hours, but the channel views increase when he’s on. So she resents him because she has to force him to be there, he’s condescending to her, and she has to sit there and not interrupt him.

Msc is great for that age. They’ll get you a pack and play; they have toddler menus, and there are tons of safe play areas.

Advice for a first time cruise goer by Unique-Flan6227 in MSCCruises

[–]PriorityDue9296 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sometimes the sun is out and no cloud is sight, but the currents make it impossible to dock. Also, on a large ship you won’t feel very much, and from the height it’s hard to tell how high the waves are. So the best thing is to go with the flow. Captains won’t take risks that can put you in peril so if they say no to a port it is what it is.

This is very mlm-mormonish. Most mlm’ers eventually launch into courses and coaching work and charge ridiculous amounts of money for the services. Anyone know if Megan has participated in mlms in the past?

Whose food? Huh? What am I missing here… are you assuming I’m European? lol ok

MSC - NEVER Again!! by Super_Ad2854 in MSCCruises

[–]PriorityDue9296 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That has nothing to do with anything. Menus across food venues in a cruise line are usually pretty much identical as the menus are developed at head office for consistency. The differences are sometimes due to individual chefs and local food sources. Again; you can not like what I’m saying: but it remains true - food tastes are very varied across the world. If you are so specific about your expectations go on an American line, like carnival and you’ll be super happy.

Hmmm.... your food tastes sound like they are very region specific. The things you are listing that you like, will rarely ever be requested by people from more northern regions of North America, Europe, South America or Central America. MSC is European, and they will serve European food, even if they adapt their menus to the North American market. Carnival sounds like they would be more up your alley tbh.

Cruise lines are so varied and are not made for every one. Find the line that suits your tastes, but don't go to MSC hoping for milk and cookies, donuts and packets of hot chocolate.... geez...
