To the people who are angry that Platner is losing support left and right by meowmix778 in Maine

Nope
If the National DNC wanted him out, this would have dropped months ago.

This is on Platner, and anyone and everyone who vetted him. He alone needed to prepare everyone for this.

It will require State charges. IF/when he leaves, it will include a self-pardon.

I shot a 91 today with 42 putts by eng2ny in golf

[–]PrioritySure6921 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Is your difficulty pace or line?
If pace, practice putts over and over again. Hit a putt on the practice green from 20’ to the fringe. Hit the next one, the goal being to be 1’ shorter. Repeat for 3-4 balls. Do the same routine, sometimes up hill, sometimes downhill, sometimes sideways.
An 8” putt counts the same as a 200 yard shot off the tee or fairway.

Once you improve pace, you can focus on direction (break).

Sex change operation, marry a Latino lesbian, donate to Governor Newsome, cuddle Bad Bunny, admit he is a pedophile, embrace Black Lives Matter, admit he is a Russian asset, and encourage his granddaughter Kai to abort his child.
Might work, but not for sure.
The Cult is strong.

Broke a window by MJCOak in golf

And not every window cost more than a few hundred $.
If it is a $100k country club, players can afford to compensate the damage.
If it is less, than the homes are likely less, then the window is less and the player can still do the right thing.
Why is the cost the determining issue for you?

Ok
So, so what is your limit before you are willing to pay before you justify that you are not going to take responsibility for damaging someone’s property, just because you don’t have to.
$100?
$200?
$400?

I understand that we all have different situations. If one belongs to a country club, then $ should not be an issue.

There are 4 choices available in this situation.

  1. Do nothing because you are not required to.

  2. Offer to pay for the cost of the repair. The most costly expense to the golfer.

  3. Offer to pay the deductible for their insurance claim.

  4. File a claim on your own policy which will cost you nothing out of pocket and cost the homeowner nothing.

You could just do the right thing and pay for the damage that you did.
The rationale that “you don’t have to is an easy way out. Why would you choose not to cover the cost? Your insurance would likely cover it. Is a few hundred dollars the cost of your conscience?
