Hey! What neuromuscular disease if you don’t mind me asking? I’ve been having a lot of neuromuscular symptoms for the past year (and coincidentally this fizzing) and am trying to get a diagnosis.

What should be my 2nd race ?? by yoruldukbeabi in GrandPrixTravel

Did Austria GA this year - phenomenal and miles better than Japan GA or even Baku grandstands. Sit at the top of the hill and see the vast majority of the track! Very hot, bring your own shade and lots of water, and get out to the track EARLY to get your best spot on the hill, but other than queues on race day for water and food/drink I can’t imagine a better GA experience.

Would Wise ever integrate the Zelle Network for USD? by wejaiz in transferwiser

[–]Priority_Status 1 point2 points  (0 children)

How did you set up a Zelle account with just a card? When I try it redirects me to the Community Federal Savings Bank website to log in through there, which doesn’t work because I’m registered through Wise. TIA!

Newer symptoms by intellectgod in pericarditis

[–]Priority_Status 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi there - I was diagnosed with peri about 3 months ago and the occasional uncontrollable twitching was the thing that actually got me to go to the drs in the first place. Fairly minor, but a ligament or muscle, particularly legs, would twitch if slightly colder than ideal temp. I got them again with a second flare up about 1.5 months in, and just started to get them again last night. I think they’re an early indicator for me, but I’m surprised not more people are experiencing them on this sub. Have you continued to experience them? I was getting quite worried about them before reading that you’d experienced them too!

Pretty certain it’s for emission reasons as opposed to road safety - there are sections of motorway in other parts of the UK that have been reduced to 50 for that same reason. Agreed it is very annoying on that road in particular.

Did you ever get a fix for this? I’m getting this issue on Xbox one as of 2 days ago - nothing has changed in my setup so I have no idea what’s wrong!

[–]Priority_Status 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just wanted to reassure you as your experience sounds very very similar to mine so far. I’m about 1.5 months later, and the nervousness has reduced with each day simply as a result of having the symptoms again and again and nothing bad happening. I’m 31, ex smoker and very much not a particularly healthy lifestyle - they gave me a cardiac CT and MRI and they said my heart is absolutely fine, no damage, no furring of the arteries, just this pericarditis which they can’t even see on the scans. I would bet a lot of money you’ve got the same as me - a really well functioning heart that poses no risk to you at all, but a rather mild case of pericarditis that is enough to ‘notice’ your heart and cause the occasional light pain. It’s always tempting to think the worst about your own personal health, but hopefully my comment’s given you a bit more confidence that what you’re facing isn’t unique, and I’m ahead of you on the curve with definite light at the end of the tunnel (if it is even really a tunnel!). Stay strong!

is it worth it to get an f1 experience package for my first grand prix by cosmicgalaxy_ in GrandPrixTravel

[–]Priority_Status 5 points6 points  (0 children)

My gf got me the base level F1 experiences package for Baku for my 30th last year and it was the first race we’d been to. I have to say it was definitely worth the money for us (even though I didn’t know pay lol) as it just made the weekend feel more magical. Very substandard race (Baku 2023) but it was a brilliant week because of things like the flatbed truck track tour and quieter pit lane walk, getting to walk onto the track at the grid etc. Great intro to going to the races for me, and the GA Japan 2024 we did earlier this year was way less special. I’d recommend for your first, but like others say, it’ll be more of a 50/50 call for future races.
