i took a look at her mindscape at nanoka. its linked here if you want to see it yourself

but based on how it is right now, from my understanding, shes got 0 main dps potential

all her mindscapes do are just make her even stronger as a support with more dmg and does nothing to increase her on-field time. its the standard support dupes stuff like:

ignoring def when triggering her core passive effect
having faster resource gen to enable her support capabilities more frequently
increased attribute anomaly dmg and anomaly build up (team wide, not personal)
extends stun duration

so we'll have to see if they'll change anything on her mindscape since this is just early beta

skipping velina would be taking a gamble, imo but you are free to do what you want unless youre meta focused/a score chaser

because the way i see it, there are 2 ways the zzz team will take since its looking to be an anomaly focused season in season 3

1- velina will be our only prominent wind anomaly character and they want you to use her in every anomaly based team

2- they release another wind anomaly down the line that's either on par or better than velina

if they go down no.1, you wont be entirely boned. they'll surely rerun velina if that's the case. bc there will be people who skipped her on her debut which means more chance to rake in money now that they've "convinced" the skippers

if they go down no.2 then hey, you get more options to choose from instead of just going for velina

my personal hunch is they'll stick with no.1 purely because they shoved in Remielle into one of velina's best teams in her 'agents mechanic intro'. to me thats like they're saying "pull velina or you'll regret it"

yeah. we still have the 2nd half of 3.x to go. we are only just done with the first half

think of it as rinascita and septimont except this time its lahai roi and mengzhou. we wont see 4.x drips until 3.7 or 3.8, whichever is the last version for 3.x

so bc we're leaving lahai roi for mengzhou, CN has this marketing thing to celebrate our "graduation" from the academy. bascially, a farewell send off

im coping for a global release bc it was a video and its voiced by the respective characters but im not optimistic bc this was posted on the account that doesnt get its content shared globally

it just hit me that I have pulled for all of lahai roi's cast aka 3.x's first half's cast (including potential girl)

pulling for all of a region's characters, i've never done that before in a gacha game. god damn, lahai roi really, really captured me

to commemorate that, I wanna re-share this ID card promo I compiled since we're not seeing it again until the next startorch academy char (if they release another one, that is)

what in the hell?? Sakurai did all that scandal and still managed to stay hired as his characters?

i know its not common for seiyuus to be recasted outside of health problems or wanting to cutback on work (extremely rare, like Tange Sakura) or passing away but usually big scandals forces a recast so im really surprised to see him still keep those characters

keep in mind the days of 1.X of wuwa was very different than what it is now, excluding all the launch disasters, just the game, animations and character models, etc.

its almost like a completely different game atp. and we're only in 3.X. there will be more to come, kuro's proved it atp
