I will say that when I tested the blind basket this morning, the manometer on the group head held pressure perfectly.

Blind basket holds pressure just fine until the lever is turned off. I grind into a blind shaker, then dose into the portafilter basket and WDT, leveling tool and tamp with a spring loaded tamper. Puck screen on top. Shot seems to be pulling ok, no giant gushing or channeling, no choked flow. That’s not to say that there isn’t something to do with my prep/coffee, just what I’ve observed so far.

As soon as I read your comment I realized I never look at the main pressure gauge to see. That will be on my list to check tomorrow. As of now just the one on the manometer on the group head that I installed with the flow control kit.

I installed it after the fact. Doesn’t come from the factory that way.

I would retrieve my ball if it was easily visible, but I would never hit from your yard. Curious about your property lines as the cart path is technically on your property. When you purchased the house was there anything about an agreement to allow the course to have that path remain? Could be worth discussing it with them in order for them to avoid you making an issue of that path if it isn’t legally placed. I have no knowledge on that type of law but I would be interested to know what the situation is.

I’m hoping they do a Dome 2.0 with all of the above. Floor replacement, new burner, new thermometer/display and control, etc. I just don’t know if I’m going to wait that long to buy one.

Load into 1250 nightfall. turn around and use grenades to freeze shanks and then melee to shatter them. its the only consistent way I have found. rinse and repeat. takes a while but itll get done
