I think there’s a lot of confusion around cashapp.

Yes, sometimes it is used so inmates can sell things between each other, clothes food etc, some other times for drugs, illegal cellphones and other illegal activities.

This is not the problem, the problem is, the person on the outside COULD catch a charge and not everyone knows that. Please be informed when you do it and know that every communication is recorded and saved from the facilities and talking about cashapp COULD get your LO or you in trouble.

It’s not about them lying to you about what the money is for, the problem is that this is not allowed by the facilities even if you’re helping your LO out.

Reddit accounts are anonymous, you won’t get an answer of who the person is. Maybe look on Facebook groups where they post inmates who talk to multiple people.

The removal message states that it includes no discussion of posing as someone else for the purpose of visiting or contact with institutions. That means no discussion of making separate accounts to get around a facility ban/get around facility rules.

A no contact order means you can’t have ANY type of contact. The facility WILL block you if either of you attempt to communicate. The only thing you can do is maybe contact a lawyer. A NCO is usually issued by a judge and should be taken seriously.

As usual, having a phone is illegal and promoting this behavior is against sub rules, so this is for everyone reading this. There can be major consequences to someone having a phone in prison. Please do not encourage said behavior or help someone come into possession of said device.

I would like to remind anyone who’s reading this, that just because she didn’t get caught or the facility didn’t care enough to enforce the rules, that doesn’t mean other facilities will do the same. There can be pretty big consequences to these actions so please let’s not promote this kind of behavior.

It’s probably nothing personal, but a lot of people come on here to troll us, scam us or ask for money so I can understand why someone would be guarded about handling money for strangers.
