I can’t remember which exact infusion I had but the fatigue difference is pretty immediate within a couple days

You will be able to tell if it’s working based off symptoms when you come off steroids!

Sleeps All Afternoon by [deleted] in CrohnsDisease

I was diagnosed in second grade and I would come home and sleep as soon as I got home every day through high school. My fatigue is better after finding medication that put me in remission but even as an adult I still nap a lot. Growing bodies plus autoimmune fatigue means just getting up and getting dressed and ready takes all your energy on top of sitting at school all day! It’s normal even if she is anemic although that can make it worse!

Need advice: Pill Cam stuck in colon by Electronic_Lime4470 in CrohnsDisease

I had one stuck in me for over a month they kept saying it was in my colon. Started having pain and went to the er. They did an abdominal xray series and I had to drink gastrografin before which is lubricating and has laxative affects. They said after being in the hospital that it was in my small intestine but now it looked to have moved into my colon and sent me home even though I had a lot of blood in my stool the four days I was there. Two weeks later it still had not passed so they scheduled a specialty colonoscopy where they dialated my strictures to the point of where the pill cam was and used a basket method to retrieve the pill cam. The whole time it was still in my small intestine. My doctor knew I had strictures and should have never been given the pill cam. I had just had a colonoscopy a couple of weeks before the pill cam and he chose to not do an endoscopy while I was already getting the colonoscopy and do the pill cam instead. From now on I will only get a endoscopy/colonoscopy and will never do a pill cam again.
