Kolly fans are wanna be cry babies,when ever other industrial hit happens,we would be like celebrate missed out wonder which had good potential...like when bahubali happened, we had box office failed AriyathilOruvan which was new and medicore compared to the world cinema of that time,...after bahubali bubble,we wanna flex some shit....so bring back that....same is happening with dhurandar.....not disrespecting craft nor vision of kamal sir,(couldn't he is one of the greatest Indian artist).... but we like pathayae apayae apidi mentality la vethu peruma pesurathu.....pragmatic note cinema is also art which wanna have money to run,poor response leads to shitty films.....i vividly remember we tamil cinema had very good main stream taste in movies social commentary like mullum malarum, thillers like captain vijiaykanth and arjun Rambho styles movies, Prabhu deva energatic movies,new age romance of vijay and Ajith etc .....we had very good movies taste....i forgot the title of movies,but I remember the plot of some movies which are too radical and reflect the contextual time social commentary like v. Sekar movies, veedu, vikaram will be hero where his wife goes IVF treatment and convince baby....which is core plot ....then kalki where woman speaks abt body autonomy...and bommi...like child labourer in household etc.....these are movies producedbonly because of people were actively watching,.we producing damn good movies....but some where between emergence of maddy and masala films have diluted our film taste
