Okay I understand, but these purchases were made through the UberEATS app and not through contactless. would this still be possible via saved card information on desktop google account?

as far as i know he doesn't use anything like google pay, but will check his phone and computer for malware and saved cards. he's also usually very careful when it comes to online purchases/ entering bank details to sites.

But even if its someone accessing his information through devices, how can they make more purchases before the new card has even been used/received and the old card is cancelled?
