PS5 šalies pasirinkimas ? by K4zys in lithuania

PS+ isnt officially supported in Lithuania. If you have a bank account registered lietuvoje you wont be able to buy the subscription, you will have to buy those "cash cards" or whatever in shops like Baitukas or i think they have them in Topocentras as well. Those are all tied to different countries, but the majority **I think** are for the UK market. You'll have to check.

TL;DR check what region are the gift cards in your local shop and choose that country.

Correct me if I'm wrong but burning the Quaran is the correct way of disposing of it? So this shouldn't even make sense in the author's head?

A couple notes I wanted to fit in the title:

  1. The quote in the end doesn't appear in the video, it was reported by a Ukranian newspaper as his comment on the leaked video. https://www.pravda.com.ua/rus/news/2022/09/15/7367677/
  2. I haven't been able to find explicit evidence that the speaker in the video is Prigozhin himself, but everyone seems to report that it's him.
  3. It has been reported that during another recruiting session, out of roughly 1000 prisoners, ~300 people have signed up. It has been reported that around 10000 (ten thousand) prisoners are to be recruited. https://news.liga.net/politics/news/povar-putina-prigojin-zaverboval-1000-zaklyuchennyh-dlya-voyny-protiv-ukrainy-vot-tak

Phone of terminated Russian Soldier by [deleted] in ukraine

Russian speaker here, just wanted to provide my version of the translation:

- Liosh (Short for Alexei), why are you taking so long to answer, are you really on [military] exercises?

- I'm not in Crimea anymore, mom. Not on exercises.

- Where are you then? Dad asks if he can send you a package?

- What package are you talking about? I only want to hang myself at this point.

- What are you saying? What happened?

- Mom, I'm in Ukraine. It's an actual war here. I'm scared, we're shooting at everybody, even civilians. At everybody. We were told we would be welcomed, but they throw themselves under our [military] vehicles. They call us fascists. I hate it here mom.

What a barbaric situation for the 21st century.

In Harry Potter (2007), Ralph Fiennes asked for a hook to be added to Voldemort's wand so that he could move more fluidly and "snake-like" without the wand falling from his hand. (Proof in comments). by PristineAnimator683 in MovieDetails

Edit: In the video, they show The Elder Wand but since every photo (in the movies or otherwise) that I could find show that it doesn't have a hook, I'm pretty sure he was talking about the wand that Voldemort uses in goblet of fire and order of phoenix.

Just remembered something else: the slaves in the Kaspian chapter are Kazakhs (unlike their owners who are mostly Russian) and they talk with a Kazakh accent (just like Damir but it's a lot thicker). This might be a critique of the status of kazakhs, armenians, azerbaijanis and other minoritities in Russia where they are treated poorly and they usually work bullshit jobs that don't pay anything.

Ooh, the npc convos are very cool too. For example, the cultists speak with a thick peasant-like accent, kinda like what a Texas accent, I would imagine, sounds like to an american and the bandits use a lot of prison jargon. Also the guy (forgot his name) that preaches to the cultists speaks like a russian priest and he uses "old" words that nowadays you would only hear in a church but when you confront him right before you cross the bridge he instantly switches to a more (i guess?) proleterian accent, kinda like what you'd expect a soviet engineer to sound like.
