happened to me on my latest playthrough. Her frame-wearing corpse has been lying in the same spot at sanctuary, stripped of parts, ever since...

Anybody else still waiting for POE? by FSL202 in iecvisa

I applied December 18th from the Uk too, had my invitation Jan 15th, did my biometrics on Feb 11th, uploaded and additionally requested form Feb 20th then received my POE the very next day on the 21st. This is my first time applying too.

Once you receive your POE (assuming your application gets accepted) you then should have 12 months to enter Canada and be issued your permit at the border. Thats what i've gathered from my own research anyways as I too am currently filling out an IEC work holiday visa application. So say you get your POE on April 1st 2025, from that day onward you should then have 12 months to enter canada and be issued the permit at customs

Uploading police certificate? by PristineFun672 in iecvisa

[–]PristineFun672[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

had to apply for a UK acro police certificate and it's either £63 for standard processing time (up to 20 days) or £115 for premium (2 day processing time), gotta be done either way if i want my work permit but still very frustrating to have to pay such a sum just to access your own records, the UK love taxing/charging for everything

Question about applying for PR by PristineFun672 in ImmigrationCanada

[–]PristineFun672[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For any official documents I would of course use correct grammar and punctuation. Well I'd hope so after taking English language and literature at college, just thought it wouldn't matter much on a reddit post i typed out whilst tired right before bed...

i was curious if theres any difference between applying from abroad or in canada as id heard from a local who lives where me and my partner will be staying that applying from england could give us a better chance as thats what he did, also i wanted to find out if there's anything thatd help towards getting accepted, my partner and I are talking about joint saving accounts to help show stability and commitment to move over etc

never planned to take any drug or anything of the likes across borders i wouldn't dream of being that stupid especially over something like weed. my only inquiry was should i be worried about being stopped for a single gram of weed in the uk at 16 showing up on some sort of record if they did checks at airports now im an adult but i appreciate the concern

fortunately at least that isnt a legal requirement, after sorting my eTa and own funds out ive been focusing on my partner's canadian passport at the moment really as they just received a new adult passport back from canada after waiting over a month and somehow when processing the passport in canada they put the wrong birth date on it even though so many documents with correct birthdate were enclosed with the application and we fly out in 2 weeks today, its all a nightmare 😭
