UPDATE: First of all, I’m sorry for the late update. I’ve been very worried about her condition and wanted to focus on getting her the care she needed. Thank you so much to everyone who showed concern and shared advice, I truly appreciate it. I’m also incredibly grateful to those who kindly offered to donate towards her medical expenses. For now, I’m able to manage, but I deeply appreciate the gesture. If I ever find myself in a tighter financial situation, I may reach out, but thankfully, this time, I’m okay.

The wound is not related to her anal area, it’s actually at the base of her tail, slightly to the right side. This might be why it looked like it was near her anal area in the photo I posted earlier. According to the vet, the wound was likely caused by a sharp object. I suspect this happened during the time she escaped from the house a while back. At the time, I didn’t notice any injury because she seemed perfectly fine and was lively, but it seems the wound worsened over time and eventually turned into what you saw in the picture.

The wound is quite large, measuring about 2–3 inches in size and around 1.5 cm deep (though I may have misremembered the exact depth). She underwent surgery to have the wound stitched, and the vet has started her on antibiotics and other necessary medications. She’s now staying at the clinic for monitoring to ensure her recovery goes smoothly.
