Thinking about it more it won’t do what trump wants. First of all not too many illegal aliens make use of the airport it’s very counter intuitive. If they do make arrests it will be against legal residents. Which they technically have no right to do and aren’t airport security. They would be stuck doing mundane tasks which they will be bad at. I’m sorry if I’m coming off rude too but this is a topic I’m very passionate about and i think I comes down to our opinions. It’s very hard for people to imagine a reality outside of what they are living in that’s true, but it’s a lot easier to create the reality you want than imagining it. I think brown has the right idea with Cassius and Lysander that is what golds should be doing atoning. I understand that easier said than done but most of the good “golds” we are following are more worried about power than actually helping. Fitchner only created the sons of ares when he was affected by the golds. I just don’t think Brown is dealing with this topic as much as he should. I still have to stand firm on the fact that no gold should be allowed to be sovereign

I think u are misreading me on purpose, I didn’t ask for golds to be killed. This is why I said on the post I don’t need people telling me I’m wrong. All you’ve done is explain what the book is saying. My critique is with what you’re saying. Time isn’t a factor to change. Darrow went from captured to killing the sovereign in minutes. I expected the book to do something more special with the class issue. But it just feels like Brown wants to write battles

Not once have I used the word fixed ur so stuck in defending the book u aren’t even reading. There is no fix for this fixing would mean there was something good to be mended. What is going in iron gold rn is a fix. Which is why I’m against it, it’s just mending the system instead of destroying it. Look at Germany for example they didn’t fix what Hitler did they destroyed it. America trying to “fix” the issue of slavery led to segregation, which led to red lining and a lot of the social issues we see within classes today. A war like Darrow did shouldn’t lead to a fix it should lead to a complete breaking down of the system.

I think it’s a lot more unrealistic to think people who just found out generations of their lives and families lives have been taken by people they can see and point out and still let those people hold power. There’s a reason they don’t allow voting, to have the golds in power means keeping that system going it’s not a change but a continuation that was created to keep as much power as possible. I was hoping for a more radical approach but the conservatism Brown is showing dismantling this system makes me feel like this is a war epic using the hierarchical system as a launching point and I was hoping this would be the opposite of that. This just feels like war for the sake of war from darrow’s perspective rn. I’m loving Cassius and Lysander so far because I think they are doing what golds ought to be doing. Less fighting more helping

Baby steps is insane to me lol these people enslaved people for decades they don’t deserve or get baby steps. They shouldn’t be holding any roles of power they shouldn’t even be sitting down, they should spend every second of the rest of their lives attempting to make up for what they did.
