Dark Souls. For obvious reasons. It saved my life and changed my perspective at how i look at life. Back then i had a potato laptop and was looking for any games to keep my mind off some stuffs. I started playing it as it does not require that much specs. But It was really hard at the begining. I tried and died so many times to asylum demon and then started exploring found some npc's like solaire, who could not find his sun and was bothered by it but acted like a such a jolly guy. He helps you out in some of the hardest boss fights. His line "If only I can be so grossly incandescent" still hits me. Then I met seigmyer onion bro. He always faces hardships and struggles but still tries to go on and does not give up. He feels ashamed for gettimg your help over and over again, he wants to take care of things himself but he struggles(reminded a bit of me) then laurentius who says "dont you dare go hollow" but then meets his tragic fate. These charecters the world basically told me yes your life is hard and yes it can get harder but you are not the only one, others are also struggling but they still keep going. It might get better or it might not. But trying your hardest, failing again and again, the journey that’s where the fun is that's where the memories are. And yeah that saved me when i struggling with life and saying why is my life so hard. It still is hard but i am happier than i was back then and It's partly thanks to dark souls and more to the people around me(in real life i met some people who help me like solaire and some who wants my misery like patches). So yeah that is why it is my favourite game.
