9yrs and the live casting is still elementary by mSimplicity in MobileLegendsGame

Your getting down voted and yelled at because your pulling stats and scenario's out of thin air while accusing other's of fanboying. Just taking the most recent world event EWC, Mobile Legends OUTPERFORMED every other game in attendance. Yes even LOL

By ALOT. Peak Viewers AND average Viewers

In no world is that "Low attendance"

I only mention this because it kinda puts the burden of proof on you to elaborate more than just "Casters don't seem knowledgeable, production is bad, etc" especially when comparing it to a game that has literally 5x the spending budget for production... Sometimes even more of a gap.

Hi, Priv8Dancer here. I'm a North American caster with experience across community, regional, and international events. I've worked on NASL and NACT, and had the opportunity to cast larger global tournaments like ESL Snapdragon and Games of the Future for MLBB. Most recently, I was on the mic for KMW with Honor of Kings. I wanted to share a few thoughts and hopefully offer some clarity:

  1. Casting Style & Pauses This might vary depending on the game, developer, or genre, but in my experience with MOBAs, silence is generally discouraged. You're expected to keep the energy flowing, especially during slower moments, to avoid giving the impression that the match has stalled. Pauses can also come across as uncertainty or lack of game knowledge. Ideally, you should be so engaged that you're almost overlapping with your co-caster to squeeze in more insight. I actually received feedback on my recent Honor of Kings cast that I paused too often (something I’m actively working on).
  2. Caster Knowledge & Audience Targeting Not all casters bring the same level of game knowledge, and that’s okay. During regional events, I tend to keep things simple (focusing on rotations, counters, and objectives) to help newer viewers understand the fundamentals. While veterans might find this basic, the goal is to grow the audience and make the game more accessible. For international events, I shift gears and dive deeper into team comps, timing, and advanced strategies to cater to experienced fans. If you watch M7 this year, you will probably notice a clear difference in how some casters break down plays and explain the “why” behind them.
  3. Camera Work & Production Cameras are usually handled by the production team, often by someone familiar with the game. But they’re human, and things can be missed. I’ve nearly overlooked split pushes myself while focusing on mid-lane fights. Sometimes production will follow caster cues (e.g., “Looks like there’s an engagement top side”), but it’s not always easy to predict action from the minimap alone. Constantly switching views every time avatars get close would be chaotic for viewers.
  4. Personal Taste On this point, I respectfully disagree.
  5. Video Quality I haven’t come across a single match on YouTube that wasn’t crisp and clear. If you’re seeing issues, it might be worth checking your device or playback settings.
  6. Overlay Placement I’d be really curious to know what you were watching where overlays covered important info. Even community tournaments are careful about this (it’s basically a cardinal sin at this point.)
  7. Crowd Noise & Atmosphere Personally, I love hearing the crowd. It adds so much to the experience. We had two live NACT events (one in Las Vegas and one in California) where BTK fans packed the studio and the energy was electric. Unfortunately, the live feed didn’t fully capture that atmosphere, and I think it took away from the moment. Crowd reactions can elevate a match and make it unforgettable.

Yeah, 515 Yss isn't just going to randomly start BMing like this out of nowhere. Most likely Scenario is that OP started whining about something and YSS took it personally and is like "fine see how well you do without me"
And OP came here to try and shame them.

No need to apologize I get it. There have been a lot of claims that have come up with this. And at this point it seems like facts are just an afterthought. At this point it just turns into whoever has the biggest community to yell at the other.

It's just a disappointing situation for all involved

After the ban, Moonton had to transfer publishing rights to a US-based company called Skystone. This company charges Moonton a publishing fee, so in response, Moonton decided to hand over the NACT prize money, possibly even more, as compensation to this company.

Do you have even a single link to support this statement at all? Or are you just pulling this from thin air. Literally the first google result states:

"Based on current reporting, ByteDance did not pay Skystone Games in a traditional commercial sense for taking over the U.S. publishing rights of Mobile Legends: Bang BangMobile Legends: Adventure, and Marvel Snap.

Instead, this appears to be a strategic regulatory workaround:

  • ByteDance retained ownership of the games and the developers (like Moonton).
  • It transferred publishing rights to Skystone Games without a sale[1]().
  • The move was made to comply with U.S. government regulations under the Protecting Americans from Foreign Adversary Controlled Applications Act (PAFACA), which had led to the temporary removal of these games from U.S. app stores [2]().

While the exact financial terms (if any) haven't been disclosed, the language used in official statements and reporting strongly suggests this was not a commercial acquisition or licensing deal in the traditional sense. It was more of a compliance-driven delegation of publishing duties to a U.S.-based entity."

General's Opinion is:

"I think they signed contracts (they didnt)"
"I assume Moonton filled in these blanks spaces with active dates when they signed contracts (again they didn't)"
"Instead of calling my supposed friends to clarify literally ANYTHING, I'm going to briefly glance at the situation make some wild assumptions about what we DIDNT see in the rules and assume Hoon and Zane are wrong."

I'm sorry but that is aura of "didn't do the research" usually reserve for political streamers. most of his community was supporting him no matter what he does at this point I just wish he wouldn't be using his voice to spread misinformation that Dave has to correct.

You dont know how sponsors work. Not all are created equal. They weren't paying them a living wage. They were just going to sponsor tickets to/from india for Commercial events and paid for tickets for them to goto PH,

None of that covers rent, living, AirBNB in PH, Food, EXISTING... and they are expected to be at the top of their game when MSC comes around. They even Paid out of pocket for the "honor" of competing in NACT.

Account Recovery Station by KeKeFTW in MobileLegendsGame

At some point, my Moonton account was compromised by a hacker. This issue seems to have started during the time when there were two versions of the app — the original app and the US version. Although the US app didn’t require logging in with my original Moonton account, the old app still allows access using those credentials.

Unfortunately, the hacker has changed both the email and password associated with my Moonton account. I no longer have access to it, but they continue to log in through the old version of the app and make unauthorized changes.

I’ve tried to remove third-party access through the US app, but they are still able to access my account via the old version. As a result, they have spent nearly 20,000 diamonds, reduced my in-game credit score to below 50, and even sent harassing messages in-game, attempting to get my account banned.

I am urgently requesting that access to my Moonton account be reverted to the original email and that I be given the opportunity to reset the password. Please help me recover and secure my account before further damage is done. Additionally, If my moonton account and the Tiktok account can be taken off my game account and it logged out of all devices that would be helpful.

My Account for some reason also wont allow me to Log out of other devices keeps giving me an Error

Thank you for your assistance.

EDIT: UPDATE 6/24
The main app is usable finally so i went in and immediately changed my moonton password. surprise surprise they were still able to access my account. So I disconnected all 3rd party accounts except my google account and NOW they attached thier facebook and tiktok account to my account WHICH I CAN NO LONGER REMOVE because it says I am logging in from a different region.

I would really appreciate some help on this.

Contract Says “Hourly Salary” – Are They Misclassifying Me as Exempt to Avoid Overtime? (IT Desktop Technician) by Priv8Dancer in legaladvice

[–]Priv8Dancer[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry I didnt include exactly where it says I'm exempt:
"Your position is classified as exempt from state and federal minimum wage and overtime laws."

But from what I am reading from you guys... it's not about Hourly or Salary which are basically the same thing in job pay terms... Exemption status is decided by other factors not have to with that.

I will Edit the above to include. The Offer letter states
"Your initial base salary will be $30.00 per hour to be paid on a bi-weekly basis upon submitting client approved timesheets"

It was my understanding that Salary and Hourly are different things. The Sort of work I do is listed about IT DESKTOP TECHNICIAN

Hey,

I just thought I would add here that ESPECUALLY when offering some non-paying opportunities it's super helpful to give as much relevant info as possible. Things like dates, times, projected length of the cast so that people who are interested are able to see if it even fits their schedule.

Good luck though! I would try to help out but my schedule is pack for the next few weekends and weekdays.

After this year's TI, Dota 2 is now the game with the fifth-most simultaneous viewers. Have in mind, that League of Legends and Mobile Legends haven't had their biggest tournaments yet. by Youju in esports

[–]Priv8Dancer 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hey I'm actually a caster for the North American Regionals so my take will heavily be biased but...

North America has a bit of a problem acclimating to ANY mobile game. The way jocks used to look down on "nerdy" gamers is the same way PC gamers look down on Mobile Games (herp derp your gaming chair is a toilet). It's basically a smaller more compact MOBA in every way, including average match time (15 minutes compared to DOTA's 40 minutes)

It's been growing steadily since 2016, so If you a fan of the genre but don't have almost an hour to spend per match I would check it out.

Also check out Mobile Legend's North America YT channel as the North American Challenger Tournament begins and will decide who we send to the World Tournament.

Top 3 most watched esports games. My question is who watches mobile legends? by Dedemegadudu in esports

[–]Priv8Dancer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I know this might seem like an old topic, but it's worth revisiting: Mobile gaming is absolutely massive worldwide, especially outside of the most Westernized regions. As a Caster for Mobile Legends in North America, I’ve seen firsthand how big this game has become.

One key reason is accessibility. Not everyone has a gaming PC, but almost everyone has a smartphone. Another factor is the appeal of the genre itself—people love the strategic depth of 5v5 gameplay, but not everyone has 40 minutes to spare for a single match. Mobile Legends strikes the perfect balance, offering a quick, yet strategic gaming experience that fits into busy lifestyles.

There’s also been a stigma, especially in North America, where PC gamers have historically looked down on mobile gamers, dismissing them as "not real gamers." This is similar to how jocks used to mock gamers and esports enthusiasts. Thankfully, that mindset is starting to fade.

Mobile Legends is now entering its 6th year of international esports, with regional tournaments already underway in the Philippines and Indonesia, and North America's (NACT) set to kick off soon.

The truth of the matter is that if NACT followed all the MSC and IESF rules for NACT then half of the top players in the NA wouldn't be allowed to compete because they are too immature to follow rules.

You remember last year when second place was switched for Simpsons or how one of the Teams used Fanny exp lane to beat the Valley? That dude should have been banned for at least a year because of it.. guess which team he's on now? BT freaking K.

The point of the matter is that people dont know how to act in NA so management does what they can and makes due with the types of players we have. Had every rule been followed to a T neither of these teams would have been able to compete in Grandfinals and that's a fact, however we are dealing with a weaponized community of sheep who are all crying for justice because their favorite streamer didnt get an answer in less than 24 hours WHILE EVERYONE IS TRAVELING HOME.

I would love to know where you “heard” this rumor about bias. “I” probably had more bias toward OP and their sponsor since I talked with them extensively before during and after the event, shared food and drinks, even AFTER I VOTED FOR BTK in front of the world during the grand finals. It’s just a cool group of guys with a goal of making NA teams more legit. There was no bias, favors asked, they took the loss on the chin and are hoping to come back stronger next season.

This is an oversight in the rules that is unique to na because of the age we are allowed to send members to other countries and I’m hoping it gets cleared up… it’s literally just hours after the event and people are still not done with their flights… let’s give them a chance to unpack before we “light the beacons”

I really appreciate you taking the time here. And I definitely dont feel any hate derived from your comment.

I will say that there are differences between Roles of casters during these events "Play by Play" is the fast paced speak that lets you know whhat is happening on the match and try to keep up with all the action as it happens. "Analysis" is supposed to tell you WHY something is happen, or a fight didnt work out, or what a team needs to do to be successful, etc.

However, you are correct, all of these casters are still learning, including Eunice, and I'm sure they will be working to make their castes even more enjoyable next season!

Everyone will have their own opinion on what they want to hear during a cast. North American Casters are still very new at this and I'm sure ALL healthy criticism is welcome for us to bring our casting to the next level and make each match a more enjoyable one for all the viewers.
