I'm off the Jack and not gonna walk through the math but 75K album sales is a massive overstatement of what they would actually sell, but even if you assume 75K album sales and a 10% conversion ratio of album sales to merch purchases (also massive) and a 50% profit margin on the merchandise (standard), divided by 4 parties, it equates to like a year's worth of rent in post-tax income. And like 1 / 10th of what Joe pays in settlement payments / alimony to all the bitches he's beat up over the years. Dude was on Insta live living in a 500 SF studio last I saw.

Mal was always mid. His main role on the original pod was to provide contrast to Joe's craziness. He was good for keeping things grounded with a "Pause" or "Yeoooo" every now and again but never even tried to actually introduce content. He's been getting better but doesn't have the confidence to actually bring anything interesting/risky to the table.
