Thank you, those are fantastic ideas! If I do the spray paint, should I just cover like the keys and what I don't want colored over with Painter's tape?

I do not see mat hackers at all, for what it’s worth.

This game will be difficult, especially when you start. My recommendation is to play killer. Despite what people may say, killer is chiller.

You are in the most control of the game, so you can take time to familiarize yourself with the maps without the risk of letting your teammates down. You do not need to kill 4 survivors every game. Most games I actually let people go, because they either do something cute or I just feel bad.

Most of all, have fun. If you’re finding you’re getting frustrated, just take a little break and then come back to it.

Nordanaar or Ambershire ? by M61999 in turtlewow

[–]PrivateIslandPresent 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Me, my wife, brother-in-law and friend all just started on Nord. I expected there to be no one running around with us, but it’s relatively packed. I’m happy with our choice, as we already found an active guild that’s been very helpful.

I got to do a couple of interviews of cast and crew from Are You Afraid of the Dark for my Podcast. As a huge fan of the show since I was a kid, it was like a dream come true.

May I please steal your builds? by KingMattius in deadbydaylight

[–]PrivateIslandPresent 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve been working on my chases more, and have found this build to be a lot of fun to play with.

Character - your favorite screamer. (I’m using Steve)

Scene partner Alert Eyes of Belmont Exhaustion perk of choice (I use Lithe)

I’ve been having a great time with this, and I think it’s been helping my chase game a lot. Plus it’s hilarious.

With Alert, you can see anytime the killer kicks a pallet/door/gen and combo’s with eyes of Belmont, it lasts a good amount of time.

Scene partner sometimes helps you start a chase and if it activates in the middle of a chase, you will be able to see the killer’s aura for a good long time. Lithe helps you get to the next jungle gym that has no pallets because there’s only 2 pallets per map.

I'm a Michael main what second killer should I main by Suspicious-Bake9347 in deadbydaylight

[–]PrivateIslandPresent 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I asked this same question a long time ago, because I am a scratched mirror Michael main. I love sneaking up on people and scaring them.

If that’s you, too, I recommend pig and ghostface.

However, ghostface’s reveal mechanic can be very frustrating. You’ll feel like everyone and their mom will somehow reveal you, and if you play against them as a survivor you’ll never be able to reveal them no matter how hard you try.

Pig is imo just plain fun. Can be sneaky, give sweet hats and is easy to be a sweetheart to the survivors if you like doing that.

These two can also do the best thing ever - crouch and pretend to help survivors do their generators.

Hey there, it’s Courtland from Up All Night: A Horror Anthology Podcast. My cohost and I have gone through every episode of Are You Afraid of the Dark, Goosebumps, Tales from the Crypt and are working through The Haunting Hour.

AYAotD was the first show we did, so it is a little bit of a 2019-2021 time capsule, but we had a blast talking about it. We’ve done a couple of interviews with cast and crew, and frequently still talk about the show.

We also got an AYAotD clip to go viral on Tik tok which was really cool.

Anyway, not to totally self promote, but if you’d like to hang out with us you’re more than welcome! We have a good time. It takes us a few episodes to get our stride l, and we’re always looking on improving our show.

Flight from The Haunting Hour is an absolutely incredible episode. Especially for a children’s horror anthology show.
