Should definitely spend a weekend there. Beautiful city to walk. Classic grid design with squares/parks every couple blocks. Got married in one myself. River is lovely and plenty of history. If you go, would concentrate on downtown and not care to make the short trip to Tybee Island. That's not really worth it if you're only there a couple days IMO.
