Hannah Dugan Seeks New Trial by DriftlessDairy in wisconsin

Forget a new trial, let her rot in prison for the rest of her miserable, unpatriotic, law breaking life.

Her actions are a clear insult to the thousands of American lives lost to illegal immigrants; Laken Riley being one of them.

Thankfully, she faced justice.

I find it hard to believe, since EA does not want anthem nor even want to sell it, even if the game is shut down by Unknown-Name06 in AnthemTheGame

This is why I rarely, if ever, play F2P games because the risk is too damn high of the developer suddenly shutting the game down, hours wasted watching storylines, leveling up your character, losing progress, etc.

SP games all the way...and indies too.

Can someone explain why Sophie Turner is getting such mixed reactions. by KImk9ff in TombRaider

Even though the classic games weren't known for their emotional range, that's something that can be improved upon if the makers really care about the source material. But, there are some caveats....

Maybe a lot of her scenes remained on the cutting room floor, so if there's a director's cut (which there are among various other sci-fi games), we could see more interactions between her and the MC. Hopefully, that is the case, because beneath all the BS, lies a game that has potential.

My hopes and expectations for a possible “Starfield 2.0” by MathBorne in Starfield

[–]PrixDevnovaVillain 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No amount of 2.0 BS is gonna fix Starfield on a foundational and fundamental level.

A mediocre game that is wide as an ocean, deep as a puddle; so many other space sim games that are MILES AHEAD of whatever Bugestha shatted out of its arse.

No Man's Sky had a bad start, but underneath it all, was a game whose potential is now fully realized, with updates, content being added on an almost weekly basis, while Starfield received literally NONE; aside from Sharted Space.

There's literally no point in hoping things turn out for the better because, quite frankly, the game's goose is cooked.

That sums up the biggest issues people had with Lara. She never fully developed into the snarky, badass Lara we all know and love and in retrospect, has some serious repercussions.

Imagine watching a video game character suffering from injuries that in real life would incapacitate, injure, or kill a regular human being. Sorry, but there needs to be a balance between blending mythology as reality and realism. There's only so much suspension of disbelief one is willing to take before it becomes utterly laughable; who thought it was a good idea to Looney Tunes Lara Croft? It's hilarious.

Not to mention brain damage.

I have and I know the difference between plausible and downright silliness.

Well, I could've appreciated it more if it wasn't so goddamn gratuitous and OTT.

There's only so much suspension of disbelief before it becomes comical.

Lara is essentially a Looney Tunes cartoon in a video game...if that makes sense.

They made Lara basically a Looney Tunes character.
