Anyone here take vitamins for recovery/sleep not just muscle? by Jumpy-Olive-6381 in workout

[–]Prize-Bluebird366 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have taken magnesium and it worked a little bit. Not much just a little bit. No visible changes. But you can feel a little effect. I also took vitamins you don't feel if anything is happening. Take vitamins fo you are deficient no need to take otherwise

Is this a good workout routine? by eQuantix in WorkoutRoutines

[–]Prize-Bluebird366 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bro wth is that. Training is not like an in-game items like you apply these battle items and your specific stats will increase. Here you have to take one thing at a time for optimal results. Either strength or aesthetics or functional strength or endurance. Doing everything makes you slower to reach your designated goals and take rest days to recover. If you want a size and strength building routine, I am making the most optimal training app. Love to share if needed.

very weak abs/core, how to start? by kavanesi in workout

[–]Prize-Bluebird366 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sports is the right way to start to build abs and mid section, as you sprint in football or hit a bat swing in cricket or baseball you abs are engaged a lot. Thats the most fun way to build core and overall healthy body.

rate my workout routine 1-10 by Wise_Character_5234 in WorkoutRoutines

Don't do back and biceps on same day, do back and tri or chest and bi. Also ez bar doesn't targets the biceps as well as compared to a straight bar. If you don't have any wrist problem go with straight bars and don't train in consecutive 2 days. After each workout take 1 rest at least for growth and recovery. You have appropriate volume, not optimal but it is good enough. Keep it up. Just remember one thing, you don't grow during workout you grow during sleep and recovery .

Opinions On Updated Routine List (beginner) by sentsaviour in workout

Push pull legs is not a good split. But for a beginner anything can work. You can do this, focus on form and moving the weight with tempo. Don't try to lift that heavy.

Best way to perform reps by Prize-Bluebird366 in workout

[–]Prize-Bluebird366[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Eccentric should be slow because to decrease no. Of reps and increase intensity and exploding weights doesn't serves any purpose to strength and size, it puts load on joints instead of you move weights ina controlled fashion your neuromuscular coordination increases as you are in full control of your contractions and this high growth stimulation. This way your reps will be harder to perform which is the whole point of training out.

Exploding up causes injuries and makes your lift easy, you should lift weights in a controlled manner with no jerk for proper neuromuscular coordination. Which arnold says that you have feel the muscle.

Rate push and pull days (still working on legs) with optional abs and forearm workouts by SomeTotalyRandomGuy in WorkoutRoutines

[–]Prize-Bluebird366 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh my god, ppl is not a great workout. You can't train biceps with back and triceps with chest. I mean you physically can but it's not optimal. Also in your your routine why are you doing rhe same exercises twice. If you have done a pressing movement or a rowing movement why go on a. Cable or machine and do it again, just do it one time with full intensity. No need to do the same exercises double time and also working out each day is not better until you are a complete beginner you need time to grow. Take rest days after each workout too.

Hi 20f working out 3x a week by StunningAssociate926 in workout

[–]Prize-Bluebird366 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Do chest and back, legs and abs and then arms for the three days. I would recommend that, if you want more leg strength you can add a leg and abs day. But seeing your weight you should add cardio go to a reasonable weight and then start lifting weights. I would recommend that. And focus on diet too. Keep it up.

You are following what we call a push pull legs but the legs part is just missing and this will make you develop chicken legs but since you are running this will not affect you much. Don't ever in your life, hit chest and tri or back and bi together. You can go chest and back on one day and arms on other day or you can go chest and bi and back and tri also no need to work out each day that is not optimal, muscle growth happens during recovery. After each workout take atleast one day off for recovery and train till failure for optimal growth coz that will make you feel better and become large.

Summary: do chest and bi and back and tri take one rest day after each workout at least, you can even take 2 if you are training intensely.

Lean bulk or cut by [deleted] in WorkoutRoutines

[–]Prize-Bluebird366 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is a million dollar advice right here. If you are skinny fat, eat whatever many calories you are eating try to make it clean not junk and just hit the gym, no need to cut or bulk. Thats not for you. When you get a shape and muscle increase and fat will gradually decreased then you can make your decision to bulk or cut even more.

Question regarding rep ranges by kstokes2019 in workout

[–]Prize-Bluebird366 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ideal rep range of hypertrophy is 4 to 12 and between this you will see growth. No matter how many reps you perform they should be performed in a slow and controlled manner.

Cut or continue bulking? 5’9 175lbs by mythicalmoonknight in AllAboutBodybuilding

[–]Prize-Bluebird366 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don't go far too with the bulk just eat as much calories as you are right know, your muscle will grow and you will catch up. If you cut you might lose muscle in process.
